I placed an order online at 8:05 PM on their website. The order was confirmed and said it would be ready at 8:45 PM. We arrived at 8:46 PM and all of the chairs were upside down on the tables and employees were standing there waiting to leave. Fine, I understand getting ready to close and there are no customers. Walked up to the counter and said I was there to pick up an order and one of the guys grabbed an open container of chips and I think he dumped it out for some reason. But there were two empty to go plates on the counter that obviously had previously held food and been dumped out. So I asked them whether they had dumped out our order thinking we weren't coming. Then they proceeded to tell me that they had been slammed 10 minutes prior and were very busy. Not sure what that had to do with my question, but then the other guy took the two empty used plates and put new chips in them. While the other guy was still telling me how busy they had just been, I said wait a minute he just put chips back in used containers. The guy with the used containers walked around the other side of the assembly line where I could not see. Then another guy comes from the other side of the assembly line with a container with some lettuce and half a serving of ground beef in it and he said we're out of ground beef. Mind you, I had ordered ground beef nachos, ground beef salad, and steak nachos. So I'm staring at the guy waiting for him to tell me that he's going to deal with the fact that they needed more ground beef because a customer is standing in front of him waiting to pick up a paid order, and he's just staring at me. I said well if that's all that you have, just cancel the order and give me a refund I guess. He said do you want me to cancel the whole order? Like what did he think I wanted to do? One of us can eat and the other ones won't? If we wanted something different, we would've ordered something different. So they canceled the order. Meanwhile, we drove almost 20 minutes to get there for nothing. No apologies or anything. I guess I should just be glad that I didn't have to deal with the fact that the guy was trying to pawn off dirty plates to me? We've never had an experience like that at this place. The employees involved were: a white male with red hair and a black male at the register and another white male with I believe brown hair that came to tell me they were out of...
Read moreThis location is going down fast. I used to work here when Josh Rellinger was the general manager. He had a bright and welcoming environment that was always packed, but that's no longer the case now that he has left.
I brought a very close family friend from Arizona to experience this one great location only for him to be disappointed. He ordered an Illegal sized burrito, but what was rolled was hardly the size of a misdemeanor burrito because it was a veggie burrito, but the burrito's filling of beans and rice were not upped to compensate for the lack of meat as I was taught. It was an embarrassing situation that was fixed by the G.M.
A one-off thing, right? I thought. I went there recently, and the employee making my Super Felony sized burrito didn't listen to me, and the burrito was once again smaller by a lot and almost spherical in shape. I attempted to talk the employee through doing it so that it wasn't shaped like a ball, but the employee got frustrated with me saying that he was just doing as he was taught. I can't fault him for that, but he was aggressive about not doing what I requested.
I know teaching him how to roll a burrito wasn't my place, but I had to eat that burrito with a fork it was rolled so badly. I had to call for someone to help me, a couple of the employees saw me but ignored me when I said hello to them, the employee that helped me came from the kitchen, was not either of the two standing around that could clearly see and hear me saying hello to them.
The food was still tasty but not as much as it could have been. It's not my place to critique the cooking or rotation as I have not been an employee since 2016, but something was...
Read moreWent in there this Friday night around 8 and they were already prepping for closing. They close at 10, yet we’re already starting their preparations for closing time. Grill being cleaned, floors being mopped and swept- AROUND OPEN FOOD AS OTHER EMPLOYEES MADE THE MEALS. They had a full house and plenty people in the line- it was busy. And rather than stopping the cleaning, a girl even stated that she was too busy to take someone’s order, someone else had to do it. They were so fixated on closing that they were automatically serving every customer in to go containers. So everyone sitting in-house at tables with to-go containers. We were told that was no more corn, yet right next to the almost empty container was another full container of corn, covered. I was told that my Birria quesadilla didn’t come birria sauce to dip, despite it being advertised. Our quesadillas were barely grilled as the guy who made ours had to rush it for the other employee to clean the grill. Again this is 2 hours before closing, with a full house and more people in line. As I ate I watched them ignore a full line while pretending to other things. No manager was in sight, and if any of them were there this is a pathetic representation of a company making millions of dollars taking our money for mediocre...
