I decided to try this place for lunch today based on having a craving for Chinese food. I have often driven by and wondered if this place was actually open based on not seeing many cars out front or just based on the conditions of their building. Today I noticed one of the local PD cars out front so I decided to give it a shot. The dining room is nothing special with literal table and chairs on an open floor. To say it was minimal would be an understatement. The decor looked very dated and kind of gross. The bathroom was not much better with the actual smell of raw sewage. It probably didn’t help to have a dirty mop and bucket in the bathroom. The bathroom was also out of hand soap. The food was surprisingly very tasty and truly flavorful. I opted for one of the lunch specials. The portion sizes were very large and there was plenty of food provided. The meal started with my choice of soup, which I selected the hot and sour. It was hot and tasty. Then I got the main course with pork fried rice and crab Rangoons. Everything was flavorful with the exception of the crab rangoon. They were small and rather flavorless. If you are going to get something to go this would probably be my opinion vs sitting down for a meal. The service was good but the conditions of the actual restaurant were not welcoming or provided much hope for a good meal.

Ive had g tsos chicken, shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein, and the crab rangoon. Everything is top tier. If you want a vheap low quality take out, dont come here. They are doing chinese food right. Its hard not to eat here everyday. Other chinese restaurants should follow suit.

Our food came out so fast. I had the honey chicken it was good, but the fried rice was amazing. The rice was cooked to perfection, plus is soaked up some of the honey dressing! Absolutely some of the best rice I had while in New Orleans.

I've never made a review of any place I've been to but after my experience, this time I had to. Here's my story: I ordered my usual takeout dinner I've gotten over the years from many different Chinese restaurants in many different states over the years. General Tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, beef lo mein, pork fried rice, etc. You guys know, the classics. Anyway, I called to place an order and was greeted by a very clear English speaking woman. Not broken English and difficult to understand. That should've been my first red flag. Placing the order was easy enough and so was picking up my food. Eating it, on the other hand was quite difficult. All of those classics I mentioned were sub par. There wasn't the familiar Chinese flavor to any of it. It tasted more like someone was trying to follow a recipe online and didn't quite get it. The lo mein was fettuccine and not the thin noodles every good Chinese place uses. The General Tso's chicken was burnt and lacked the kick it should have. The sauce for the sweet and sour chicken was overly sweet. The meal was terrible. My family and I only choked it down because I paid a higher than normal price for a meal I wouldn't have fed to pigs in their slop bucket. Moral of the story? If you can clearly understand the person taking the order, move on to another place. Chances are, your food will not be what you...

Everything about this restaurant is terrible. I've been here 3 times in the hopes that maybe the last time was a fluke, but I've decided the failure is consistent here. They fail to listen to the things you ask for. The will charge you for a large but give you a small.. or they might just screw up your order completely. Eating there; there was slow and lazy service. Dirty and ugly atmosphere. Flies inside and flying everywhere. The table wasn't even clean. Ordering out one time we came 45 minutes after calling, as they instructed, and they had not even started my order. Besides all of this, the food is awful. The chicken is dry and filled with fat and cartilage. There is absolutely no flavor, and there was a decent amount of water at the bottom of my to-go container. The rice was al dente, which is not even the correct way to cook chinese rice. The service, atmosphere, people and food are...
