Smoothie King — Restaurant in Louisiana

In only my three weeks of working at this establishment, i’ve realized a lot of unsanitary things here. They put gnat infested bananas out to serve to customers! I was preparing bananas to be set out, and i left my station to grab something. two minutes later the container of bananas was SWARMING with gnats. My manager specifically told me to put it out to serve. because “what are we gonna do, throw the whole thing away”. The fact that the amount of gnats got to it that fast, indicates a serious infestation of gnats in the facility. One day I made myself a smoothie bowl with pineapples. As i was nearing the last few bites of my bowl, I saw there was three entire gnats in the pineapples. Again, i asked my coworker ( who has worked at the establishment for 6 months ) what i should do with the spoiled pineapples. she stated, “just leave it out it’s fine”. They do not care what infections they give you. whether it’s from spoiled fruits, or pest infested fruit. You are eating these EVERY time you visit this smoothie king. The employees are all teenagers, and they are disrespectful and unprofessional. They have no intention to make the customer feel welcome, or happy with their experience. They wear over the ear headphones, and scroll on their phones while customers are right in front of them, while they decide what to order. When they do (rarely) greet people, they use a quiet tone and all they say is “hello” and they almost never wish them a formal goodbye. The worst place to go to in my opinion. Normally I have great experiences with this smoothie king. However, the store was closed when they were supposed to be open and I had placed an online order. That’s perfectly okay, I understand things happen. But I came back during lunch to ask about my order and the young man talked to me as if I was stupid for asking a question. I didn’t receive any notification or confirmation that I’d be receiving a refund, he just expected me to take his word for it and had a bad attitude. The service and online orders are usually correct I just would like with the app have a comment area for the smoothie n bowl like for smoothies make sure to put the sweet strawberries my husband got a unsweetened smoothie, other than that no issues orders ready on time and now I’m on a go go goji crunch bowl kick n loving it and the strawberry slim n trim with Greek yogurt is my go to smoothie choice n is always correct. ...
