Terrible. Ordered 40 pounds of live crawfish on a Tuesday to be picked up on Sunday. Arrived on time Sunday only to be told they didn't have us on the books. After some research between 3 employees, they realized they had us on the book for Saturday. At that point they started claiming they called us (double checked my phone, no calls from them) and scrambling in and out of their warehouse. While that is happening I clearly heard one of them say "someone wrote them down for Saturday", which in my opinion is them admitting their mistake, because I know what date I told them, and never received a phone call. So then they come back and say they do have my order but there is 16 pounds of dead loss, so they are going to charge me more for my order to cover their loss. "I normally charge 50 cents a pound extra for this, but I'll only charge you 30 cents a pound". After asking them one more time to explain their logic, and stating that this what their error, they very rudely stated "well then I don't have your order". At that point I stated that we will be taking our business elsewhere, followed by half hearted apologies as we left. Its ok in my opinion to make a mistake, but you should do whatever it takes to make it right. Even with the initial error, I would still have paid for my order, plus we wanted an additional 10 pounds, but poor attitude and failure to own up to a simple mistake is inexcusable. So this place was great when the previous owners managed this place. I first tried the new ownership a few years ago, didn't have a great experience, but I chalked it up some miscommunication on my end. Went back one more time and the food wasn't great, so I chose not to go back. Fast forward a few years, I went back today to buy some fresh shrimp. I walked in and there was a young girl (18-22) who looked to be working the counter. The phone was ringing so I stood patiently waiting, but she never answered the phone, she completely ignored it. I continued to stand there while she walked in front of the 3 to 4 times and never even acknowledged my existence. Enough time went by that a couple sitting at a table even notice and made a comment to me. So after another 15 to 20 seconds, I looked at the young girl and said hello, I am standing here and you could at least acknowledged me. She literally stood there and looked at me like I had five heads, never speaking one word. It was obvious she could care less so I walked out and won't give them another chance. It has been a very long while since I have had seafood of this caliber on the Northshore. I have bought raw fish and shrimp from here for years and always pleased with their availability for crawfish but unfortunately I've never actually eaten in the restaurant.

The boiled crawfish were excellent and were fair considering the current market price. Got an appetizer because we misjudged how much food we actually ordered. Fried shrimp was awesome, every thing we tasted was amazing. Even the children's meal was made from scratch and not just some frozen chicken nuggets.

We paid double what I expected to but I felt like every penny was worth it and next time I will order how much food we can actually eat in a sitting.
