Sweet Envy Bakeshop & Cafe — Restaurant in Louisiana

There are many things I enjoy from this cafe such as Croffles, cookies, and many of their drinks, but the cake I got just was not good sadly. For Mother's day last year I popped in the shop and picked up a cake they had for sale in the fridge, it was a bit expensive at $75 for a 6in cake, but was beautiful and for a special occasion, so I didn't mind. When we tried the cake it was very disappointing. The frosting tasted like straight butter and was very hard even at room temp. The cake itself was dry and the caramel filling tasted burnt. I was shocked because I do love so many things from there! But I am hoping it was a one off thing and that they have improved the flavor of their cakes for the price. I would still recommend them for drinks and sweet treats, but would not purchase another...

Me and my coworker went today for a little coffee and talk about life right. The worker who was there was the most amazing person in the world. She gave us free pizza and was very quick in making our drinks and my brioche.

I got the cookie crumble latte and it was pretty good, definitely coffee. I'd recommend getting it hot over iced as I think the drinks may be designed for that, definitely not a major complaint at all. Also the brioche was fantastic 10/10 when you go get one.

The point system they use is very fruitful compared to most as I've only been once in the Thibodaux location and it cut $3 off...

Wow!! My husband and I stopped here before leaving town on our long drive. Needed the caffeine. The shop was cute! The menu was varied and I had trouble choosing what I wanted with all of the delicious sounding drinks. The nice girl behind the counter let me ask questions and sample something I wasn't sure about. Very kind of her. The drinks we ordered (Nutella latte iced) were DELICIOUS! Just sweet enough and we felt great for our drive.
