As if more evidence isn’t needed that America is on a downward spiral into the abyss here’s one more thing. Tonight at 9:30 I had just landed at the new orleans airport in New Orleans East and stopped to get a sandwich from Wendy’s, which stays open till 12 I live by Clearview and the levee. Now I’ve heard at least six dozen excuses from these people as to why they cannot provide food at 9 o’clock or 10 o’clock. The coolers broken there’s a gas leak. There’s some type of odor in the building. Everyone has to clear out. There’s a potential poison goes on and on.. tonight they decide they’re going to implicate themselves in a termite infestation that is currently in the building because I was told she is unable to provide any type of food because they are dealing with a termite infestation. Lovely I highly doubt the proprietor of that building does not have a termite policy. It seems much more likely that everyone went into the cooler and is no longer able to function due to the inhalation of some type of something. if in fact, there is a termite infestation in that building. I am absolutely disgusted by whoever owns that building, and whoever rents that property to have that franchise both of you should be investigated. The owner should be investigated for having a insurance policy on a building that is not termite protected and then attempting to claim damages when some catastrophe strikes making everyone’s premium go up. And the franchisee should be stripped of any ability to own or manage any type of food establishment due to a lack of cleanliness and intelligence. You can bet I’m calling to health department tomorrow. I love being an adult and having the resources to be able to enact positive change in my community. Or else this dump would be getting away with this and nobody would be doing anything. Tomorrow, my secretaries number one action item will be to contact Jefferson Parish and find out the owner, and Wendy’s Franchise so that the health department of Jefferson Parish can be immediately notified of what is taking place. us in the area eat at that Wendy’s freque
I’m really hoping that the employees who were involved in answering the window tonight were making up that story. In which case they should all be terminated and blackballed from working at any fast food establishment ever again.
50-50 chance on which one it is. However, this was my experience tonight and I want to share it with others. I know a lot of us eat there when our loved ones are at East Jefferson. If this infestation is proven to be true, a lot of us will think twice. Ultimately the entire building is either getting tented, or the entire staff from tonight Sunday, May 19 is getting terminated. Read moreI've been to this Wendy's on 3 separate occasions and have had a bad experience with management/an employee.Ist experience was,its was between 8:00 an 9:00 an we are at the window we are waiting and waiting for someone to answer the speaker we knew they were opened because saw someone inside. About 8 minutes later we see which now I know was the manager unlock the door and comes straight to window to take our order, then on top of that it took at least 10 more minutes to get our food.I would have exact dates an time but this restaurant refuses to give out receipts.The second complaint is my boyfriend ordered 2 chicken biscuits,well he gets home we didn't open them right away because that was going to be our lunch when I opened it there were 2 biscuits with cheese and no chicken, so I bring it an talked to the manager and she flat out told me that's what he ordered, she told me she remembers him ordering that,I asked why would we want biscuits with just cheese on them. We only go to Wendy's for their chicken biscuit,I couldn't believe that she literally sat there an tried to make me believe that's what was ordered. Once again no receipt was given.If they would give receipts I can check an see if my order was ordered right,make sure I'm not being over charged. Before I go all the way back home then have to go back out and sit there and argue with a manager who always thinks she's right...its sad,ordering fast food shouldn't be this agravating. The 3rd time was this morning 8/18/22,as soon as I placed my order for 4 chicken biscuits, 1 bacon egg an cheese biscuit they told me that it would be 7 to 11 minutes for the chicken to cook I understand that but when the lady finally brought our food out I asked her for my receipt because our my order was supposed to be two separate orders but she put everything on one order,so when I asked her for my receipt she just looked at me and didn't say anything, so I'm thinking she was going in to get my receipt,I waited a good 7 minutes so I get out of my car go to the door and it's locked,I waved my hands to get her attention and she mouthed to me that the inside is closed,she knew why I was at the door but could have cared less. This Wendy's has the absolute worst customer service. I'm a manager at America's Best an we pride our selves with excellent customer service. Just to add a side note all this happened on the last 3 visits within a week an a half. Management needs an over haul. With good management comes with caring an good employee's. Read moreMay be the worst customer service I've received in years. Walk-in, only wanted a drink but decided to order 4 for $4. I asked if I could make my own drink - was told no because the coke machine was broken. Almost immediately Im handed a large drink. Then I'm told my total is $6.01. I question the extra charge over $4 and I'm told they didn't have medium cup so I needed to pay different. I objected but kept going along, they told me I couldn't use my Google Pay. After more minutes trying to pay with cash then credit card, I was still waiting for they rest of the food. I ask for my receipt - was told they couldn't provide a receipt for reasons. I decided I want to talk to manager and ask - told manager wasn't there,a 2nd servers told me she was manager. I finally asked again when 2nd server walked away and 1st server tells me manager was in the back of restaurant (Tamika). She finally came out and didn't help me but confronted me on what my issue was and at one point asked me what's up with my attitude. I told her I didn't have an attitude. I then tell her I still don't have my food and she begins to tell me drive thru come first. She asked if I still wanted my food, I finally told her to cancel my order.
