I really wanted to give this restaurant more stars and I will visit again in hopes of a better experience. If/when that occurs I'll update accordingly. When we went in my party of 3 was seated promptly. The hostess was fast and friendly. We were seated in the middle between 4 speakers. It was super loud! When our waitress finally showed up we were served with waters she was friendly enough. I asked if we could be moved because it was loud and giving me a headache. She came back shortly and informed me that they would turn down the music but she couldn't move us. I ended up putting headphones in my ears because the mouse was giving me a headache. She took our order right away and was super nice. We ordered the kids cheeseburger, kids peanut butter, honey, & banana, and the Benedictine BLT. However she walked away before taking our drink order. We were never given her name. It was quite awhile for she came back so I had to ask the hostess to send her over to take order drink order. She came right away, we also ordered cheese curds at this time. Our food and drinks came out in a fair amount of time. The cheeseburger was good, the Pb,H, & banana was said to be delicious, my blt had entirely too much Benedictine. I ended up scrapping most off then eating my sandwich, other than that it was great. The fries were okay. The curds were phenomenal. We ordered dessert. single scoop Nutella swirl- delicious, single scoop pumpkin chocolate chip- phenomenal, & chocolate shake no whip- delicious. The experience was over all good. The servicer were nice, but didn't come by often. They were however very busy. We visited around 7pm on a Friday night. Someone I'm assuming was the manager came by and asked if we were alright while eating and of course we said we were good. Overall because they were friendly, busy, and food overall was good, I'd give them a B+. We will try again for an A+ experience because so many others...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Kaelin's restaurant, and I must say, it truly is an amazing establishment and a staple in the neighborhood. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and tasteful decor. It's the perfect place for a romantic date night or a gathering with friends and family. The attention to detail in the interior design creates a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Kaelin's is diverse and offers something for everyone. Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or have dietary restrictions, you'll find plenty of options to satisfy your cravings. I opted for their signature dish, the steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The presentation of the dish was also impressive, with a side of perfectly seasoned vegetables and a mouthwatering sauce.
The service at Kaelin's is top-notch. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
In addition to the fantastic food and service, Kaelin's also offers a great selection of drinks. Their cocktail menu is creative and features unique concoctions that perfectly complement the flavors of the dishes. I highly recommend trying one of their signature cocktails or asking the bartender to create a custom drink based on your preferences.
Overall, Kaelin's restaurant is a gem in the neighborhood. It's a place where you can enjoy delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend giving Kaelin's a try. You won't be...
Read moreThe atmosphere was fine. The problems I had was the service and the food. I first sit down and am asked if I knew what i wanted to drink so i asked a question about a specific alcoholic drink. I said if it is warm, i just want a margarita, if it’s cold I’ll take that drink. Instead of that being okay the server seemed frustrated and said give me two seconds. I just need two seconds. I’ll be back in two seconds okay. My friend orders an alcoholic milkshake and the server says “since you got a milkshake that’s gonna take a lot longer.” That’s fine. So the he comes back and asks, “are you going to order anything at all?” So then i ask a question about what’s in the “loaded fries” in the menu and the server looks at me like i have two heads and is like what do you mean it’s like loaded. We don’t have loaded fries. So then i point it out on the menu and he’s like well that’s new. Fast forward we get the food my friends salad is brown and has to send it back, other friends burger is raw but doesn’t want to send it back because we already sent something back. All of our fries are cold. We pay. The person paying puts a thumbs down for food and service for obvious reasons but still tipping 20% because we’re decent people. Not even 60 seconds later the manager comes up to us and asks why we left a bad review, when we brought up the lettuce he said “well i watched them cut it so.” It was extremely inappropriate to confront a group of girls less than 60 seconds after paying and being defensive when being told about it. We all froze because that has never happened to us. We never asked for anything to be comped and never asked to speak to a manager, never asked for a discount and still tipped 20%. That was awful and me plus any of my friends will not be returning. I’ve never been treated like this in any...
