Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Louisville

If I could give the customer service a negative 0..I would, but hopefully this review is noticed by someone who cares more than the workers that cared on the night of 11/20/2024. My son and I walked into this empty building to see not even a worker around. We stood there for 5 mins (I took video) we said hello..to receive no greeting. It was my sons birthday that is the only reason I stayed per his request. Waited a few more minutes to open the door again as to ‘ring the doorbell’ just to see the works a guy and a girl sitting right in the office, listening to music. Talking to one another. When they finally noticed me, and my son is laughing at the fact that we could have made our own ice cream by now. Obviously made them upset. The guy working that night had the nastiest attitude. As if I told him to scoop ice cream for a living…. once we left. I am assuming a Manager of some sort came through the door and walked directly behind the counter, and started talking to the workers. When I asked to speak to a manager, they said I would have to come back in the morning. This customer service, and the workers...

I stopped at this location yesterday evening to purchase the Love Potion ice cream. After waiting quite a few minutes I had to walk to the back of the store and call out to see if anyone was actually there! I asked for 2 quarts of the love potion. He said they were out, but he would make me some. As I was watching him pack the quarts, I realized he was not packing them to be full. He was allowing air pockets that made it use much less product. The ice cream was soft enough to fully packed and I told him he was not packing it full. He told me he was. I said, no you’re not. He said yes I am. I should have walked out at that time. When I got home, I got my spatula and pressed the ice cream down to pack it tightly. There was a good 2” or so of head space. To my way of thinking, he stole that much ice cream from me. Additionally, I weighed the container with my scale and it was a far cry from 32 ounces. I call him a thief and I will never return to that...

At La Grange road location I Ordered Celebration ice cream cake 6 days in advance for my 12 year old grand daughter. I was promised that the cake will be ready by 5 pm on Sunday Aug 6. When I went to this store to pick up the ice cream cake I was told that the cake is not ready. The staff calls the owner and learnt that the cake is at another store and I will have to wait another 30 minutes . What was the purpose for keeping the cake at another location when customer was told to come to this store. This is a prime example of mis- management, disregard for customer’s time and total carelessness. I have been a BR customer for last 40 years at other locations but this will be my last visit...
