It is a small unassuming place, not overly decorated or fancy. Friendly wait staff and it smells amazing in here. We ordered the Thai Rangoon, they use real crab meat, and it is prepared differently than most and it was delicious!!!! The Vegetable Spring Rolls were equally tasty. It was at this point I realized all of their food is fresh and made in house. Dinner was Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai (I didn’t get to taste that one because my sister likes hers Thai Hot!!! The owner did come check on her to make sure she didn’t make a serious mistake ordering it that way 😂😂😂. It was all so fresh, clean, and wonderful. Thank you to Zach our amazing server and to the whole Take Thai Team!!!!

I'm very happy to have good Thai food in the area, and looking forward to their full menu later this month! The beef salad was amazing and good as an appetizer for a few people. A level 1 spice (from 0-4) on the pad thai was a bit much for me, but I'm pretty weak to spice and the flavor was fantastic anyway. For those who love spicy food, they can give you a spice rack to add even more. I don't know exactly what authentic Thai tea tastes like (I'm used to the canned/pre-mixed stuff), but what we had seemed pretty legit. The owners/staff were really nice and kept checking on us throughout the meal. This place is definitely worth a visit.

I ordered take out after reading the exceptional reviews. I did read that in house food was better than take out, but I can't imagine it's that different. Thai basil chicken and larb. The thai basil chicken had little basil, I had a thai basil plant at home that I used to gather a half cup and recook the chicken. The larb had no toasted rice and huge cuts of onion mixed in. No lemon or lime juice. I ordered medium and hot, because people said that the spice level is truly thai level. Nothing was hot. And thai food is usually fragrant with fish sauce which was completely absent. I'm sorry for the negative review. I can't even do 3 stars.

Nice place and nice people. I was really looking forward to trying their food. The reviews were so good. The only thing that turned out to be good, was the vegetable spring rolls. I got pad Thai with beef. The beef was extremely dry. I also got tofu in it that I did not ask for and there was hardly any flavor at all. My granddaughter got the vegetable pad Thai. Hers had tofu in it as well, that we did not ask for. Her mom and her described it as a urine taste. I’m not sure what the spice was But it does not belong in pad Thai. My grandson got the pad woon sen. That tasted OK. Nobody messed up on that dish. I was going to return my granddaughter‘s dish, but then discovered I did not get a receipt after I paid. This was a very expensive lesson to learn. So disappointed.. Simply Thai is still...

I ordered take out and it said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 12 minutes later and the food was not ready. I waited an additional 10 minutes for my food. If they'd told me 20 minutes for the food I would have been okay with it but saying 10 and waiting 20 didn't sit well with me. I could've finished another errand vs just standing there waiting. The food didn't smell good on the drive home and I'm not sure what the bad smell was as the chicken skewers were really good, the pad Thai was average, and the gyoza was good too other than being a little overcooked on the bottom (and all smelled okay once opened). I may not go back for take out unless in a pinch. Will try dining in next time. The place is very small and popular for take out from what I could tell by standing there...

After reading so many other strong reviews we decided to give them a try as dine in. So much better. Don't know why our take out experiences have been so mediocre but the food this time was very good. Raising my rating to 4 stars. Previous review : I mean, the food was fine? Have gotten take out twice now and both times the dishes were dry and under seasoned. I don't understand what they are doing with their Pad Thai, it tastes nothing like Pad Thai. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. Portions are on the smaller side as well. It's a bummer because as someone who loves Thai food I was really excited for this place to open. I don't know where all of the five star reviews are coming from but I can promise you it is NOT five star. Definitely better...
