Blue Bay Seafood Chicken — Restaurant in Louisville

First time visitors! Drive thru was backed up which gave us time to read the menu. We ordered the Cod Fish and boneless chicken wings dinner with macaroni and cheese and mixed greens. The Cod fish was fried. It didn't seem like it was fresh battered but from the freezer. For fast food it was very good and was accompanied by cocktail or tartar sauce We opted for the Sweet Chili Sauce for the boneless chicken wings. The wings were very flavorful but I'll most likely need to take an extra blood pressure pill because the salt content was off the charts! Mac n cheese was very made with a Velveeta like substance and my husband described it as pastey but that didn't keep us from scarfing it down! Mixed greens had a good flavor but again was SUPER SALTY! I couldn't figure out if it was from a can or made from fresh greens but if I has to guess it was from a can. We had the lemon cake for dessert and it was a refreshing treat at the end of the meal. The meal was a bit pricey for fast food but then again it was a Cod dinner. A big negative is that 3 out of 4 workers were not wearing masks!!!!! A BIG NO NO IN FOOD PREPARATION during a pandemic! The only guy with a mask came out with one after the cashier alerted him because I told her my husband is immunosuppressed . On a positive note....the restaurant received a 99% score posted on the drive...

Its just "ok"...For myself and 4 Kiddos...we wanted to "try" everything..So we ordered..Chicken Tenders, Fried Swai, Honey Bar B Que wings, Fried Shrimp, Mixed Greens, Fries, Regular Habachi Rice.....Reviews.. Chicken tenders were 100% over-cooked to the point they were hard to chew...Mixed Greens tasted FRESH OUT of a CAN!!! The Swai had tasty breading but the inside was very mushy. The rice was good but beware if you dont like honey mustard because thats what sauce they put over it when it's done cooking. Now if i were to go back..I think the wings and fries are the way to go. Also the fried shimp was good but how can anyone mess that up? Long story short after waiting for what seemed to be an ETERNITY for this restaurant to open...I'm kind of disappointed. Not good. I've tried the seafood boil, white fish and hibachi chicken. The chicken was overcooked, it tast6es like they used the same seasoning for the fried fish and the seafood boil. The crab legs looked store bought and were tiny so not much meat and didn't taste fresh. The shrimp still had legs - not of fan of unshelling them myself. I also got sausage which came sliced in halves instead of slices. I got cajun seasoning but there's something in it that doesn't taste good. If you like old bay then you probably won't like theirs. And if you know good seafood, avoid this place and go somewhere else. I really want to like them but was very disappointed with the food - this coming from a person who's from the East coast and...
