The MerryWeather — Restaurant in Louisville

This is such an awesome neighborhood bar. It's a quiet gem in the Germantown neighborhood and it's one of my favorite places to hang out with friends in Louisville.

The drink selection runs from $3 PBR drafts ($2 during happy hour 6-8) to $8 cocktails like the whim tiki drink or the Salty Dog. There's something for everyone. They've started serving some light snacks like pretzels, chips, pickles etc. The bartenders are great and very friendly.

The ambiance is usually very chill and has the feel of a neighborhood hangout bar with lots of people local to the neighborhood. A very different atmosphere than anything on Bardstown Rd or even most of the places on Goss. They have frequent karaoke nights and Jeopardy nights. And they host a lot of pop up food nights which are really fun.

Ordered a round of drinks, tipped the bartender. Ordered another round of drinks and didn't tip this time bc I tip at the beginning and end of the night, we went to the food truck to get empanadas and when we came back the staff had tossed our drinks thinking we left. I went up to the bartender and told him I had just ordered 3 drinks and they got tossed while getting food. He told me if I'm not going to tip him for every single round then he has no reason to believe me or care and he said this 5 times to me before I gave up and left. Good Bar but a lot of douchebag...

Talk about a slice of Wisconsin! Small neighborhood bar with beer chasers, Malort on tap and the warm cozy feeling you can only get out of a proper Midwestern bar. Food is a constant rotation of amazing and interesting pop up kitchens (all available on their website to avoid guesswork.)
