Crust & Crumb — Restaurant in Louisville

Great fresh baked items, breakfast sweet and savory, coffee, teas, special waters and juices, and lunch sandwich on the best bread. Be careful you will want to go daily. 😄 A week ago I enjoyed a grapefruit tart, who would know that would be so awesome.

Update PSA 03/08/25: make sure your clearly state if each item is here or take-out, but if it is a item that needs to be warmed, please advise them first, once taken to table and discovering it has been touch they will not rewarm it. I was not happy with this decision. Provide a mini-microwave-maybe, it was in a bag and we discovered it had not been warmed at all. I purchased another one warmed one at $6.09 after spending $43 dollars for with 4 items no drinks and 20% gratitude. The gentleman expediting was a bit on the rude side as well. Nearly cutting me off because someone else had walked up as he was still providing me my hot item, plastic wear was not provided (which should have told the team that we were eating here). Just not pleased the way this was handled. Made me get back in line to order another one, and would not allow me to just order and purchase. Thank you! (4/25 - Never hit post previously until today)

Management acted fast awesome! Now they have a new sign posted reference to the heat or no heat policy experience. Spent another $19...

This place is AMAZING! Our family has been devout followers of Crust & Crumb since the home pick ups and airstream days. We had high expectations when a brick and mortar was planned. Easy to say we were BLOWN AWAY.

The bakery-the design, attention to details (check out the custom flip board and wood clock to name a few) transport you to feelings of any iconic top notch bakery in NYC, Chicago, SF, etc. Everything is top of the line and it shows. It seems no expense was spared in its design

The food- it is dangerously delicious and self restraint is needed but everything is worth the indulge. Our house favorites range from the babka knots (our daughter calls it a cinnamon roll) to the twice baked almond croissant, fresh sourdough and the sausage leek quiche. It is ALL “instragrammable” and will leave you fulfilled and others jealous!

The service- the owner Debi is nothing short of amazing. She gets to know her customers, takes interests in their likes and helps when special orders are needed in a pinch. The staff is great and learning more and more as the days go on. Coffee is superb and if wasn’t for an early work start this would be my starting point everyday.

This bakery is amazing and we are so lucky they have opened. Do NOT sleep...

Wow. This place is exceptional. Every single item, whether a pastry, sandwich, or drink is meticulously thought through and executed. I honestly don’t know how they accomplish making so many beautiful and unique items each day. I’m just blown away. Each item is a work of art AND tastes amazing. I’ve been here around 10 times and each time the experience is a delight with different menu items to choose from. Their outdoor area is especially beautiful and relaxing. The owner and everyone else working are so kind and helpful. A few highlights: many cafes in the city were featuring strawberry matcha lattes this summer. After trying many of them, the strawberry rhubarb matcha latte from Crust and Crumb is just by far the best. Meyer lemonade: amazing. Any croissant: amazing, perfectly crisp and flakey. Bacon breakfast sandwich: amazing, perfect blend of savory and sweet. Chocolate orange babka knot: please try this if you like orange flavored things, it’s amazing the orange flavor they manage to accomplish.
