My review is about the lack of customer service and the professional incompetence of owners and management.
My review begins the day before Oaks. I had difficulties ordering 25 pizzas with this location’s website. I have ordered over a hundred pizzas from this location over the years. On this occasion, I printed the order and hand delivered it to the location and gave it to one of the five employees in the store. The order total was over $500 dollars and was scheduled to be delivered by 11 am the next day for my forty employees, which were notified they didn’t have to bring lunch that day. The manager of the store forgot an order for 25 pizzas which is unbelievable by any business standards. Needless to say, I called numerous times the next day and was on hold for fifteen minutes each time before terminating the call. Since I am part of a professional business owners group I was able to find the owners phone number who lives in Collinsville, IL, and called his cell number and left him a detailed voice message of what had transpired so he could improve on his lack of customer service and stores professionalism. Ironically, he called back within seconds while I was on another call which tells me he couldn’t have listened to my message within that time frame. After he listened to my message, he never called me back and it’s been four days. My contact who gave me his number mentioned that would happen!
The moral of my story is… When you see employees/ workers at Lowes or Home depot standing at the end of an aisles having a social gathering and not assisting customers… When one employee at Speedway is checking out a long line of customers while the other two employees are stocking the hot pizza and drink area… Don’t blame the unfortunate employee that is checking out the long line, don’t blame covid, don’t blame the laziness of the humans who want to stay home and draw unemployment. Consider the possibly like this one… where it starts at the top. If you’re a manager, or owner, who doesn’t demand accountability, reliability, teamwork, and most of all honesty, then this is your place to work. " I pray this type of business doesn’t become...
Read moreI haven't really liked Domino's since the Noid doll days. However since moving to Clifton Heights in Louisville the restaurant selection is so few. There is a McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Lee's Chicken and Penn Station within a 2 mile radius. It's slim pickings. Especially since the McDonald's here has the worst tea made in all of the Eastern Hemisphere. So I was not real happy with having the few choices of one at midnight for delivery. I do admit the Bread Bowl Pasta is just a splendid surprise of garlic buttery bread and decent pasta. This was delivered wrong and without any hesitation they replaced it immediately. I am very appreciative for that considering most places make you feel like your inconveniencing them when you tell them something is wrong...I'm not gonna be Domino's biggest fan but once every two weeks for a bread bowl pasta and Lava Cake I would continue and recommend. The people working there are slammed busy and seem to do very well and are always attentive and customer friendly. My only complaint in which makes me want to never order from them again is that it is 50 cents for a tiny bag of Parmesan cheese. Matter of fact if I order from them again it will only be because I have no other choice and my car will have to be broke down and only if the local Speedway doesn't have any warm food. Because the fact they charge that is outrageous. Now I wish I didn't like the bread bowI otherwise I would never mutter the name Domino's again. The workers are great, Domino's corporate can kiss my grits with the extra price...
Read moreI've never had so many problems ordering from this store before. Usually their food is awesome and their service is great. It must have been a serious off night. My first delivery man was very difficult to understand because of his accent, and kept getting lost while trying to make the delivery. The bag of parmesan bites I bought were torn open and smashed. The pizzas and cheese bread were burnt. He forgot to bring up one of the 2 liters. So we called and spoke with the manager and he said he'd have it fixed. An hour later a new guy brings back the order, which looks right this time, but didn't bring up the missing 2 liter because no one told him about it. He said he'd go back to the store and bring it right back. An hour later no one had still shown up, so I called the store back and spoke with the manager again, who said he was told it was already delivered, and he'd send it out on the next delivery. ANOTHER HOUR LATER, I called the store back up after not having received it, and asked to speak with the manager. I spoke with a different manager this time, a woman, who I told I wanted my money back, and she put me on hold. When I was taken off hold, it was the same male manager I'd spoken with the previous times, and he told me the order was voided. I thanked him, and he just said "yeah", and hung up on me. Talk about rude!!! With all the business and money I've given these people, this has been an unbelievable experience! They treated me like I...
