Got some egg drop soup there today and there were rock fragments in it. Yes literal rocks. Definitely could have broken a tooth. I’ve ordered here several times before and never had an issue... Update: I called and politely asked for a refund for just the soup. They refunded me only $1 after hanging up on me. The soup was $1.55 w/o tax and there was a $1.50 convivence fee. I drove back to the restaurant and had to ask for a full refund. The manager claimed he refunded me the whole amount but, knows he did not. I kept questioning him until he voided the order in front of me, THEN I got the full refund. I was very understanding until that point. He blatantly attempted to lie to me instead of just doing the right thing. Don't go here.

Highly recommend the Sesame Chicken. This place was my go-to when I was working in Louisville. Out of the three nights a week I was in town, I ate here at least once. Staff are friendly, food is always fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. I tried several places around town, but this one far outshines the rest. Don’t miss out! This place is great!

Double Dragon Chinese is a restaurant that truly embodies the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover." From the outside, it may not catch your eye with its rather average ambiance. However, once you step inside and taste the food, you'll find yourself pleasantly surprised.

The atmosphere of Double Dragon is quite ordinary, with no particular frills or fancy decor. It's a simple, unpretentious setting that might not immediately impress those seeking a visually stunning dining experience. However, this simplicity is part of its charm, as it allows the real star of the show - the food - to shine.

The food at Double Dragon is nothing short of exceptional. It's clear that the chefs here are masters of their craft, consistently delivering dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese classics, each prepared with a level of care and precision that is truly commendable.

The standout feature of Double Dragon is undoubtedly its consistency. Whether you're ordering your favorite dish for the tenth time or trying something new, you can always expect a delicious meal. This reliability is a testament to the skill and dedication of the kitchen staff, who work tirelessly to ensure that every dish meets their high standards.

Service at Double Dragon is efficient and friendly. The staff are always ready to assist, making sure your dining experience is smooth and enjoyable. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are more than happy to make recommendations if you're unsure of...

Expensive! Egg drop for nearly six bucks with tax??! Not worth it and Do not call in or order online — October 2024. 50 minutes to get your order IF you call it ahead as I always use to I was in and out. Better off going in to order and waiting for it. Call it in you will be told “ 10 minutes” and when you arrive 10 minutes later and end up behind a line of 10 customers still ordering it fails the idea of carryout and phoning in the first place. Just know your food is now sitting there.

There is NO part of the counter for pickup from carry-out. It’s silly , I know.

That’s the way it is there. I was there for 35 minutes waiting on the guy who was waiting on four phone orders that kept cutting in line lol, while one woman in the front waited patiently for 29 minutes to ask for what she wanted. Sure he took each and every call while ten more people lined up behind me, most waiting only to pick up - carryout.

I wish genius and clever people would figure out a way to portion a three foot area for pickup of carryout in a separate line but they don’t exist and why am I trying to make sense of it. Food is about a 3 1/2. It use to never be like this. Things change. One slice of annoyance is enough to never touch anything that does again. Expensive. Very expensive. Egg rolls are a oily on the heavy side, I do not think they are all that. $5.50 for a large egg drop soup is insane price. I will not...

I have been buying from this place for over 10 year. It is used to be the best Chinese place in town. Used to be... Not anymore. Ever since they changed ownership - everything changed. The food is no longer the same! We used to pay $8- $10 per meal and it was worth every penny. Ever since my husband sold his business on Poplar Level Rd. we quit going there for some time and yesterday we were driving by and decided to order something to go..Oh, boy, I wish we did not! Ordered two meals (Singapore Choy Mei Fun and Pork spare rigs). When we came home and opened our meals we realized that we make a mistake. Choy Mei Fun was impossible to eat at all! But the second meal was a complete joke. Spare ribs were completely burned and the rise was completely missing! When we called in and asked a question about the rise we were told that it does not come withe THE MEAL (as if I did not spend hundreds of dollars on this MEAL over the last 10 years before!)! When I asked why they still charged me a MEAL price they laughed at me and said that it was because they gave me a bigger portion of ribs. No thanks! THIS WAS MY LAST VISIT TO...
