Fiesta Time Amigos — Restaurant in Louisville

My partner and I have been going to Fiesta Time Amigos about twice a month for the last two years. At first, the food was amazing. Really quick service with better than average flavor. We gave recommendations to many friends and family. Unfortunately as the popularity of this place has gone up the quality of service has plummeted. If you are someone who makes special requests I seriously recommend you look elsewhere. I have always asked for no beans with my meals and have actually got the correct order about 30% of the time.if you have specific allergies I would not trust to get the correct food. Of the last 5 times we have gone the wait for food has been over an hour. If you order takeout they will tell you 20-30 minutes but the actual time will be 50-60 minutes. While mistakes happen, it is clear that this restaurant is not able to keep up with the sudden surge of popularity it has received. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the quality of the food itself is still fine, if you actually get what you’ve ordered. In my opinion I would rather go to one of the chain Hispanic restaurants for average food and at least be confident that I’ll get the food that I ordered in an appropriate...

When this restaurant first opened, at the Bardstown Rd. location, it was amazing... The service was great and the orders were tasty and right... The food the last few times we have been there is nothing to write home about... For example today we had take out for lunch... I ordered 2 orders of lunch fajitas and an order of chicken street tacos... They gave me 2 orders of rice, lettuce, and nasty, orange, "canned" refried beans, one order of tortillas, and one order of meat and veggies... Obviously it is on me to check the order before I left, but usually there is a young man there that bring out your order and he goes over it to make sure it is right... He was not there when I picked up the food... I got the street tacos and the chicken was dry, tasteless and full of gross looking wilted cilantro... I tried to put queso and guacamole on them, but ended up throwing 2 out of 3 away... The queso was warm, but looked like it had set in the bowl and was starting to crust over... Wish I could say we will be back to try again, but I can't... Because we won't......

The menu looked awesome but after we were seated my boyfriend went to the men's room and when he returned he said let's go, we're leaving. Since even drinks weren't ordered we left. He said as he came out of the men's room he saw a door cracked because of a water hose going from inside to outside. He opened the door to see why that was and saw what he thought was restaurant employees washing the dishes with the water hose! He said it was not sanitary.

He also said as he walked back he saw a large piece of raw meat on a counter, with many people walking around it in the kitchen, doing various things. He said he didn't feel like this was a clean place to eat.

I can't say what was going on as I didn't see it but I'm confident these conditions would not pass a health inspection.
