Empty, if a man wasn't sitting at the counter. I was told the grill wouldn't be ready before 5:30a/6a. I walked in after 4a. I asked about the restroom, & after washing my hands, I apologized for not saying, "Good Morning". I went out, & brought my phone in, sat, & charged it. Everyone that came in, after was told something different. A server took an order from a booth, as I watched her ignore me.
She asked me if my order was dine-in, or take-out - while standing near people in a booth. I had my mask on, so, I pointed to the window, behind me. I was seated near the jukebox. I didn't get up, I didn't get loud, as I didn't want people she was standing near, & the others, who found me seated, when they walked in, to be cheated out of service & food, so, I didn't say anything, & I wasn't asked, again, about my order.
No one asked if I had ordered.
The entire time, after orders were taken the cook was fussing about scheduling; leaving @ 6a, & not taking orders, & being forced to cook, to replace the cook that walked out. I didn't approach a seat b'cuz all the fussing implied no one would get food. I was the only one who didn't get food. Another cook walked in, & sat at a table, refusing to clock in, early. No one approached me. The staff found a way to take orders, & serve, & I remained quiet, while the scheduler, or manager was fussed about.
Some mothers occupy jobs, & spend too much of a shift hoping to find ways to make other people suffer, because they feel inconvenienced. I need to lose 130 pounds, so, being forced to fast, or be hungry, can be seen as a blessing, she never intended.
The voice making the most noise, started sharing how she had to attend a graduation, & ended up leaving after 6, after cooking for most of the people there. Not me. Never me.
My phone charge was completed, leaving with the sun was up. I arrived in the dark.
I worked within one Waffle House, once, many years ago, & was fired, without proper training.
People seemed happy, while leaving with food, after listening to what would have ruined my appetite. She wore no mask, & didn't seem to care, if spit flew from her mouth.
I didn't expect the loudest voice to be in the parking lot, waiting for a ride. She said nothing, as I walked by,...
Read moreWish i could give this place zero stars... Literally the worst waffle house experience of my life and i could not wait to leave. I couldve been like the gentleman next to me and left before ever receiving my food, but i was hungry and usually get good portions so we stuck it out. We were immediately barked at very rudely by a waitress to move from where we were standing and waiting. I guess we were in our way and she couldnt muster up enough energy to ask in any sort of kind or polite way, but i digress. Food took a while, which is pretty normal and expected for waffle house, but the issue was that the gentleman who came in 20 minutes after us and placed the same exact order got his food well before us. During this extended span, we watched the staff spiral into a storm of hellish poop fire (censoring myself for googles sake). More food was making it to the trash than to the customers, orders were overcooked, burnt and sloppy and kept getting returned. The staff were arguing with one another and more concerned with finding quarters to restart the jukebox than working as a team to get the job done. My coffee was never refilled, my waffle had raw batter on the top, and to top it all off, they decided that it was too much of an inconvenience to cook the two eggs that i ordered, so they used their dirty hands to take some eggs off the plate of 5 eggs my partner ordered and tossed them onto my plate. We still got charged for 7 even though we certainly didnt receive them and were honestly too exhausted and over our rude, terrible server to complain. Certainly wont be back - advise to you - drive to the next waffle, house where the staff looks like they have showered sometime within...
Read moreI visited this location a month ago for dinner and had a GREAT experience. Weren't many people in the restaurant, and our server also cooked our food, which was excellent and made with care, short haired older lady with glasses, you rock!! Visited the same location today for breakfast, a Saturday morning, and was very let down. They were a bit busy, which was expected for breakfast on weekend, but our server was very impolite and didn't even greet us! Unacceptable. No one is too busy to say hello, at the bare minimum. Not just walk up and ask if we were "ready" before even getting a drink order in. Wasn't very pleasant hearing servers gossiping as well.. yes its a waffle house, but have some damn common sense people... especially if they could barely keep up with the orders and patrons in the restaurant. 4 or 5 cooks, 3 or 4 servers, they were very unprofessional and struggling. Keeping a note to only visit this location when they...
