I go to Starbucks constantly, all across the city and country.
I mobile order most of the time but let me tell you, I’ve also experimented drive thru and walk in. This Starbucks can’t get any of them right.
I’ve waited anywhere from 30 minutes to and hour for all three methods. In fairness they are busy, but so are all of the other Starbucks I go to. On a few occasions I had to ask where my drink was and on one occasion I was told someone must have taken it, which is just silly because I was there the whole time and my name was never called.
They rarely have the little sticks to prevent spillage, they often don’t have the guards to keep my hands from getting burnt AND they don’t use two cups if they are out of those guards. So I am walking around like shifting my coffee from hand to hand like I’m trying to fast break down the basketball court and slam dunk it.
Frequently they have piles of boxes in the waiting area, I imagine if that’s the case their storage is crammed and certain doom for anyone who might be trying to egress from there.
On a couple occasions I ordered ahead to walk in and pick it up, and found that the dining area was locked and closed, so I had to get in line for the drive through which was like a demolition derby. Cars everywhere for the same reason, then I waited forever.
They have been “On Strike” twice in a year, closing the entire store. Most recently there was a letter on the door that said if you orders for a mobile pickup to call corporate.
It’s a miracle for these that the company sees this and allows this location to continue behaving this way. If anyone should be on strike it is the customers. I complained on the app a number of times and no one seems to do anything. Same lousy workers doing the same pitiful work.
My recommendation, close the location, once all these “union” workers quit, hire new people and start over.
I’ll start adding photos and videos later. Maybe...
Read moreThis Starbucks used to be good but then one day it was just excuse after excuse why my orders wouldn’t be ready (I order ahead of time) and hasn’t really gotten much better since. Some days they’re good and have it ready but most of the time ( right now included) they have some reason why my order that I place 10 minutes in advance hasn’t even been started yet. I’ve even see employees run from the parking lot to inside, come to the window and lie to my face about having computer problems but they are getting started on my order when I clearly witnessed this person just sitting in the parking lot smoking. And be sure to check anything in your order that’s not a drink because 70 percent of the time you’ll have to walk back in a tell them it’s wrong and point out what you needed. I’ll give the staff credit because they are always nice and on it once called out but as far as being prepared and having it all together is just something they really lack on. Oh don’t count on anything being in stock either or the computer working to order ahead or for the staff to even know what any of the products are in the store. As a matter of fact the only thing they get right is.....is.....um......well they spelled...
Read moreThat saying "it starts from the top down" fully applies to Starbucks overall. This location, as with all Starbucks locations, lacks the ability to communicate to people. Every time I, or anyone I know enters a Starbucks, there is never a "Hello", "How are you?", or the biggest one: "How can I help you?"
That is a great way to lose out on continuous customers, and revenue. It's an easy change, and goes a long way from the customer perspective. Feeling welcomed is a big way to keep a customer in your store, and coming back.
Every employee, from the management down makes no effort to approach or help the customer standing just a few feet away. Instead they keep their heads down and make zero eye contact with you, fearing itll make them have to speak. Instead, they continue to make drinks for phantom customers, aka no one else could be in the store, yet the employees are furiously making the invisible customers all of their coffee.
As a regular customer, Ive seen this unwelcomed approach far too many times, so what better way than a review to remind Starbucks as a company to try a little harder, and simply be better at communicating with people, especially...
