T K's Pub — Restaurant in Louisville

Used to be a 5 star(IMO)... However, due to the greediness of the owner(based on what I've heard from others, and my own observations), the drink prices have shot up, while the overall quality has gone down. They still book good bands, but they advertise drink "specials" such as $4.75 Fireball! Um.... I can go down the street- or even across it, and get a deeper shot for cheaper. $5 Shots of Jim Beam. Really?? And for all this, you still get a bathroom that is always in disarray (not fully the bar's fault, but still- I've been in "lesser" bars, and the bathroom is clean!). So, yeah. Used to be one of my top 3 "go to" bars, but with the prices rising every 5 minutes, and nothing new, updated, or better, I'm being generous with 3 stars at this point. I do want to start this off with saying the Lauire is phenomenal! She is their best asset! With that being said, My husband and I frequent T K's quite often! Yesterday's experience will cause me to never return! The owner, Todd King, showed his true colors! While having a drink, Todd decided to drop the N WORD bomb! He was talking with a patron and said it then looked over at me to see if I was watching. He then repeated again! The patron stated to Todd that he couldn't say that. Todd said that he can since he works for himself!!!!!!!!!!! You're right Todd King!!!!!!!! you will never get another dime of my money ever. I will never spend money where the owner is straight up a racist! I would suggest that before anyone that spends money there to refrain and go somewhere else where your money will be...

Good atmosphere bartenders mouth started to get a little slick after a while. He knocked me from getting a free drink because the person was already drunk, she had a drink in front of her trying to by me a drink. We stood there for a good 20 minutes wait on him to acknowledge her, she goes to the bathroom he says out loud you going to shoot or are you really going to piss. So him and I had a few words about that situation. It don't make a difference what she's doing, you noticed she had a drink in front of her for a minute and not even a drink a shot, I don't shoot shots every time soooooo what was his point.
