Stopped here just to have a drink with a friend and chat a bit. When we first walked in we saw a few tables playing poker and everyone was smoking. I don't smoke but my friend smokes cigars and he asked the manager/owner if he was allowed to smoke cigars in the building. The owner said no not until after 9pm. So we went outside and sat so he could enjoy the cigar and I could enjoy fresh air. I went inside to use the restroom and walked by the 3 tables playing poker, also where the owner was hanging out and noticed 2 guys at the poker table the owner was at smoking black and mild cigars. The bathroom was filthy. I returned to my friend to told him he wasn't upset but I thought it was less than fair. The drinks were terrible I order a Cabernet and my friend ordered a Lynch-berg lemon-aid. The wine taste like it came out of a box and the lemon-aid was made out of powdered lemon-aid mix. This is not what I would expect from a place that is more bar than restaurant. I had to pour my wine into a big cup of club soda to get it down and my friend ordered a second drink and wrote the recipe for the "bartender" to follow to get it the way it was intended to be made. He said it was ok but he wouldn't come back here. It's the only thing in town as bars go so I'm sure that's why they are still there but I wouldn't go back unless I had no other options. The sever was very friendly and to her credit she did tell me the wine wasn't that great. I guess my fault for not listening to her.
