Touchdown Wings — Restaurant in Lovejoy

We’ve ordered from Touchdown Wings a couple of times now, and the experience has been a mix.

Wings: The first time, we tried the Teriyaki Lemon Pepper wings and they were on point. Good size, crispy, and the flavor was balanced just right. We really enjoyed them. A few days later we ordered again and tried the Mild + Teriyaki Lemon Pepper combo. That mix wasn’t really for us, the mild sauce kind of overpowered the teriyaki but the Teriyaki Lemon Pepper flavor by itself is definitely worth it. The fries were solid too, and I like that they don’t automatically come pre-seasoned. They give you the seasoning on the side so you can add it how you like, which is a nice touch. Overall, me and the kids really enjoyed the wings, and I’d say they’re one of the more consistent wing spots we’ve had.

Catfish Salad: Another time we switched it up and ordered the Catfish Salad with fries. The fish itself was seasoned well, though it arrived cold (probably from delivery time) nothing a quick air fryer reheat couldn’t fix. The real issue was the salad. The lettuce was soggy, sitting in water at the bottom of the container, so I could only salvage the top portion. Iceberg lettuce just doesn’t hold up well, and with the price, a fresher or mixed variety would make a big difference. The dressing was also underwhelming, it came with Ken’s ranch, which isn’t my favorite. A house made dressing would have elevated it.

Overall:

Touchdown Wings definitely shines with their wings the flavors and consistency make them worth it. The salad, though, was a letdown, and I probably wouldn’t order that again. My recommendation: stick to the wings and fries that’s where they really...

Called in and placed an order over the phone. I asked how long it would take once I arrived and was told they would just toss wings in sauce when I arrived. I arrived and paid for my order and waited 40 minutes and finally decided to just get a refund after asking twice how much longer. I was told by the girl that it would be another 3 minutes and cancelled my order after another 10 minutes went by and no order. There was no apology from either girl at the counter and no urgency for my order. I watched several people file in and place orders and receive their food. Service is horrible and they don’t care at all and made sure I knew they didn’t care. I waited 40 minutes and left with no food. Their food is ok not the best and definitely not worth dealing with poor customer service. Will not return nor recommend anyone...

N A S T Y!!! The worst wings I’ve had in a loooonngg time🤢 French fries are horrible!! Was just curious because I’ve heard good things about OTHER locations. I’m assuming this is not the same as the ones I’ve heard about. HUGE wings, that tasted undercooked. Fries didn’t even taste like fries. I hate I wasted my money on this mess. Go across the street to WICKED WANGS or AMERICAN DELI!! Will definitely not be coming back!! Only fountain drinks they have out to serve yourself with are the 3 punches ( lemonade.. peach.. and fruit punch) and they are not even sweet🥴. The other sodas are in liters and cans. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
