The KFC/Taco Bell on Tara Blvd is perhaps the WORST “fast” food establishment I’ve ever visited and foolishly had the nerve to revisit. The staff is incompetent, too young and playful, and the establishment never has the items they advertise that they sell.
At my first visit, they had no grilled chicken prepared and weren’t willing to offer to prepare any. “We ain’t got no grilled chicken, sir. Can I offer you original recipe?” I responded, “No. Put some grilled chicken on; I’ll wait.” During my 30-minute wait, I had the displeasure of hearing the KFC associates tell other customers in the most uneducated-sounding, broken English, “We ain’t got no mo thighs,” and “ We ain’t got no mo nacho cheese,” and “We ain’t got no mo mild sauce,” and finally, “We ain’t got no mo Dr. Pepper.” Eventually, I got my grilled chicken.
I foolishly visited the establishment a second time after receiving coupons in the mail announcing their recent remodel and including special offers. I brought two coupons to the store only to hear that I could only use “one coupon per transaction.” “Ok.” I said. “Let’s do separate transactions.” The KFC associate says, “No. I meant one transaction per visit.” I kindly asked to speak to the manager. The simpleton manager goes on to say the exact same thing the previous associate said, “Only one coupon per transaction.” Again, I offered to do separate transactions. The manager said, “No. I meant one transaction per visit.” “Would you suggest that I leave the store and go through the drive through in order to use my other coupon?” I asked. “Do you take snapshots of each customer who uses a coupon?” The simpleton said, “I don’t understand what you mean.” I went on to explain, “Suppose I had come in earlier today with a coupon. I’m now back, some four hours later, to use another coupon. Would you tell me that I can’t use my coupon because I came in four hours earlier and used a coupon?” He said, “Sir, I’ll make this exception for you today.” Should I really have to go through this nonsense with a manager? I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone. Honestly, I’ve come to the realization that this type of abysmal customer service is common place in metropolitan Atlanta, and as soon as I can...
Read moreI've lived in Lovejoy since 2017 and everytime I come to this particular KFC it's always the same response I don't know why I bother to come here, I don't like fast food I buy here because my daughter and her grandmother like their original wings. I bought food on 03/18/2023, I went to the drive thru first because not much cars was in line, while placing my order at the intercom I was told to go inside which I found odd because there was only 2 cars infront of me. I proceeded inside and asked cashier what was the difference with me ordering inside than outside, she said no difference kool... placed my order total was $47.07 was told that the wait time was 20 minutes... waited for 30 minutes then proceeded to counter to inquire about my order no one acknowledged me, mind you the person that was taking the orders from drive thru was speaking with a coworker and cashier was standing right by register. I then asked to speak to a manager, the person that was taking the order was the "manager" who would have thought? Base on the lack of customer service. At this point my chicken was still not ready 😒 I demanded a refund only to be told I can't get a refund like really so give me my chicken. Still can't get my chicken. I had to call 911 by this time it was 7:51pm I placed my order at 6:53pm. When the police came a worker even started to argue with the police when they were speaking to the manager, so call manager told the police chicken was not thawed out... but told me chicken would take 20mins had someone told me that, I would have went somewhere else. The workers are all young disrespectful, lack of customer service, no morals and very nonchalant. The young men in there had their pants below their buttocks, the employees were playing, speaking on their phones and walking around. But then you had the nerve to asked me when d police came if I still wanted the chicken, why would I want to buy from here again? Y'all was lacking from before but this was my last straw. And I still didn't get my money back. KFC NEED TO...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and ordered me a 3pc combo with 2breasts and a wing. Thai came with mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit and a drink. So to begin with i was told they only had original breast and a crispy wing, was that Ok with me. So I replied yes that would be ok and i asked how much was the combo. I was told that my total would be $6.80. Then I was told they were out of mashed potatoes so i replied that i would just take a container of gravy. I got up to the window and was told my total was $7.80. I asked why? So after a big ordeal about the difference in the price i was told i ordered an extra breast. Which i did not. I ordered a 3pc. Combo with 2 breasts and a wing. The lady handed me a bag with my order and turned to go away from the window when i asked about my drink. The drink that comes with my combo and was then informed per employee they were out of coke. Would i like something else. No, i replied I would not like something else. After attempting to get this employee to understand i really did not even need a drink and could they just reimburse me for it, she told me the difference was only going to be$.39. I must say this female employeewaa very patient and never rude to me but the manager was called over and I cannot say the same about him. I finally just told the girl to just give me anything she had back there to drink bc i was holding up the line and there were several cars behind me. Well low and behold I get home and sit down to eat and open my box and they did not even put the wing in my box. So if you do decide to go to this location, i would suggest checking your order before you drive off. I just don't understand why they don't tell you when you place your order if they are out of something. No they waited until they took my money and then told me. I guess they figure that way people will just take what they have. Which is a very bad choice for...
