Fresh Plate Catering and Cafe — Restaurant in Loveland

Fresh Plate Catering catered an event for my company last Wednesday. The food was great - customer service not so much. They had setup for event around 5 pm last Wednesday and the lady who setup agreed to come back in the morning to clean up. We did not know we would have SO MUCH left over food, with of course no place to store it overnight to keep as cool as possible until they came and package up all the left over food, or so we thought they would. Well, with limited resources we put horse ice boots (we’re an equine rehabilitation facility) in the cooler they had left to keep the food as chilled as possible until the morning.

Fast forward to last Thursday morning; not only did they not take our our ice boots (given, I guess that’s partially our fault for putting them there to begin with), but they also took the hundreds of dollar worth of food (probably trashed it), and left behind a large catering/serving tray.

I called Fresh Plate and left a message right away Thursday and did not get a response. So I texted Monday, to which I got a response that they apologize and they’d look for the ice boots. Well I texted them again Tuesday late afternoon asking for an update, and have gotten radio silence.

Food is great and all, but customer service and professionalism is where this business lacks. Will be using another business for...

I cannot say enough amazing things about Tracie and the team at Fresh Plate Catering. I was so nervous when I first set off to find a caterer for our wedding, but I knew from our initial phone call that Tracie was the right choice for our big day. She worked closely with us to create a menu based on our food preferences, budget, and her extensive experience. Tracie did an amazing job at managing our guest with Celiac disease and making sure there were plenty of gluten free options. From the appetizers to the dinner to the cake, everything was flawless. And the presentation of the buffet was beautiful and fit our theme perfectly. We received so many compliments on the food and service.
