This store is purposefully misleading, and providing false information in order to get sales, or new pieces into their location. I went to Kay to purchase an engagement ring, because I had previously bought rings from Kay that I was going to trade in. After speaking with a rep in store for over an hour, I was directed to their online store where I could have any ring that was not "online only" shipped to their location and then use the trade ins to purchase the new ring. When I found a ring that I loved, I called the store to verify that this could be purchased using my trade ins. The Rep I spoke with Laura, said that they weren't able to use my trade in since the ring that I had selected was "Previously owned" but since I was told in store that I could, they were going to allow this exception. I went ahead and purchased the ring for $3,700 over the phone with the rep Laura, and had it shipped to the store. Then a few days later, I received a call from a new rep Leah I was informed that my ring had arrived but I would no longer be allowed to use the trade-ins, as previously discussed. Only after I spent $3700 with them and had the piece delivered to their location was I told that I would not be allowed to use my trade-ins. I was eventually given a refund for the ring I purchased, but there was no attempt to resolve the situation or follow through on their part. This whole experience has been a waste of my time and money, and now I would never refer a friend or relative to use Kay. Absolutely terrible customer service, and they will say anything...
Read moreAfter purchasing a piece of jewelry from this location and the extended service plan the piece broke. The piece could not be repaired so they ordered another item in its place. It took MONTHS partly due to COVID but we received no communication from the store. They offered a refund, but we had to wait for the replacement to come in to do that. FINALLY after us checking back at least five times the piece came in and we were issued a refund. Then three days later they charged my debit card again but conveniently have no record of that transaction. The digital screen of my bank statement an a cash register receipt showing a charge of $181 wasn't enough proof for their customer service department. They said I needed to dispute the charge with my bank. I tried to do that and the bank said because it was a credit and then a debit they could not help me either. I've got a piece of broken jewelry that I purchased a service plan for and no replacement. Have experienced no less than 4 people behind the counter saying they can't help me and have spent multiple hours in this store trying to patiently get this resolved. We've spent over $10,000 at Kay Jewelers over the course of several years. No more....
Read moreMikayla and Leah are absolutely amazing! I came in with visions of what I wanted and they made them come true!
Even though I walked in right before they closed they treated me with such respect and made me feel welcomed. I tried on all kinds of different wedding bands that I liked. These ladies even helped me order the ring and replace black diamonds.
After some thought last night I went back in today because I wanted more black diamonds to replace other white diamonds and Mikayla without question took a sharpie and started to show me what I ordered, what different diamonds would look like black rather than white. I apologized like 700 times because I felt so bad and she just kept reassuring me that it was no problem and that she wanted to make sure it was a ring that I absolutely loved because I am the one who is wearing it.
They also helped my fiancé find what he wanted. He didn’t want to look while I was in store, he didn’t really look much at all because he’s stubborn. I ran next door super quickly and when I came back he had tried a few rings on and found one that he really liked.
They were so sweet and I had so much fun shopping!!! I will definitely post photos when our...
