Was super excited to try but left disappointed…
We had a reservation at 7:15 pm and arrived a few minutes early, only to find the restaurant completely full. The host was lucky a table got up around 7:20, but it was a huge table for nine, which made it awkward for the three of us to sit there.
It took over five minutes for a server to greet us and take our drink orders. After bringing drinks, he didn’t ask if we were ready to order (we were) and rushed off, leaving us waiting another 10 minutes before returning. We ordered soup to start—something that’s premade and just needs to be ladled into a bowl. Yet 15 minutes later, we still had no soup.
During this time, other tables who were already seated were placing additional all-you-can-eat orders for sushi, and we watched as they received multiple rolls while we were still sitting there with nothing. When I went up to the woman who appeared to be running the restaurant to ask what was going on, there was no apology, just an excuse that they were busy. It would be understandable if everyone was waiting, but it felt like we were the only table completely ignored while others continued to receive round after round of food.
At that point, we didn’t even want to think about how long we’d have to wait for sushi after finally getting the soup, so we decided to leave. After nearly 40 minutes of sitting there, we left without food, without a second drink refill, and without any effort made to acknowledge the poor service.
Overall, we were extremely disappointed by how disregarded we felt at Belly Buster Sushi. We understand that restaurants get busy, especially with all-you-can-eat orders, but communication and basic service (especially for something as simple as soup) should not be...
Read moreJust tried out Belly Buster Sushi, and it's a solid spot, especially if you're like me and love a good small plate situation! Think sushi meets tapas or dim sum – absolutely perfect for trying a bunch of things or sharing with friends without committing to huge portions. 👯♀️
Seriously, the portions are just right here. You won't leave feeling like you need to be rolled out, which is fantastic for managing what you eat and trying a variety of dishes. Out of everything, the lamb skewer was the absolute winner for me. 🙌 It was perfectly seasoned with just the right kick of spice – a definite must-try! 🔥 The crispy salmon salad was another hit; it was fresh and flavorful. And the seared salmon? Simple, yet delicious – you can't go wrong with that one. There were a couple of items that were just... fine. Not bad, not amazing, just kind of middle of the road. But honestly, with so many other good options, it's easy to just skip those next time!
What really impressed me was how fast the food arrived – super quick, which is awesome when you're hungry! 🏎️ Plus, the service was on point; the staff were friendly and efficient.
Overall, if you're in the mood for some quick, tasty sushi and Asian-inspired bites that won't leave you feeling overstuffed, Belly Buster Sushi is definitely worth checking out!

Read moreI don’t know how this place has as many positive reviews as it does. I have never walked out of a restaurant without getting food or receiving such poor service—until Belly Buster Sushi.
I arrived at 6:45PM for my 6:40PM reservation. Mind you, we made the reservation because we had a movie to catch at 7:50PM, thinking that would be plenty of time for dinner. It was a Wednesday night, and when we walked in, the restaurant was already completely full. The host led us to our table, and that’s when everything started to go downhill.
We were handed two paper menus and given no explanation at all about the “all you can eat” versus “à la carte” options. We waited about 10 minutes before our server came to take our order, and even longer just to get drinks.
We then waited an entire hour and still had not received a single piece of food. At around the 45-minute mark, the waiter told us “just a little bit longer,” but nothing came. Meanwhile, we watched other tables—already seated—place additional all-you-can-eat orders and get multiple rounds of sushi, while we were still waiting for our very first dish.
I understand a restaurant being busy, but this was just bad. We felt completely ignored and disappointed. After waiting so long with no food and no real updates, we ended up walking out—without eating—so we wouldn’t miss the movie we had already paid for.
Honestly, it was such a frustrating experience and such poor service that I...
