Bonchon in Lowell isn’t just another branch in the chain; it’s a standout star that elevates the already high standards of the Bonchon experience. Known for its crispy, juicy Korean-style fried chicken, Bonchon has made a name for itself worldwide, but there’s something special about the Lowell location that makes it shine even brighter. When you visit Bonchon in Lowell, you’re greeted with more than just the mouthwatering aroma of double-fried chicken; you enter a space where every detail is aligned for customer satisfaction. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfectly capturing the lively spirit associated with Korean dining culture. It’s an inviting setting for families, friends, or solo diners looking to indulge in some of the best chicken on the planet. What sets the Lowell location apart is its consistent excellence in both food quality and customer service. The chicken here is always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served piping hot with a side of their signature sauces that are both spicy and sweet. The staff at this location also goes above and beyond, providing friendly, attentive service that ensures a memorable dining experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to share their recommendations, making first-timers feel like regulars. Overall, the Lowell Bonchon has mastered the art of Korean fried chicken and customer satisfaction. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, the Lowell location stands out as a pinnacle of quality and hospitality in the Bonchon family. It’s the place to go when you want not just good food, but an exceptional dining experience that will leave you planning your next visit before you’ve even left.

I had to change my review. 3 years ago this place was excellent. We keep ordering from Bonchon thinking maybe it was an off night, but we spent a ton of money on food for a birthday yesterday and it was just awful. The fried rice was the only thing that was good. The boneless strip were truly 1/4th the size they were 3 years ago. They're the size of my pinky finger and are cooked to hell so they're incredibly dry and end up feeling like your chewing on wood chips. These were truly inedible and we were stuck with an expensive 20 piece box. We got soy garlic and the newer Korean bbq flavor and the have almost no difference in flavor. At least it was barely detected in our order. Finally, my all time favorite item on the menu is the Korean tacos. Tonight was the first time the were soggy and falling apart... just didn't taste flavorful. They also changed their coleslaw recipe since the last time we ordered. It used to be my absolute favorite now it's bland and tastes like every other boring coleslaw. I'm really sad that one of my favorite places to get chicken has gotten so consistently bad. With so many other chicken places in and around Lowell, there's no reason for us to keep ordering expensive and really disappointing chicken from Bonchon. ************* The fried chicken and fried rice was great. This isn't really what you'd call authentic Korean food but it's good "fast food" Korean, and the only place in Lowell that has Korean food. It was busy on a Friday night but we were sat right away. Waitress was a little slow but nice. Udon soup was loaded with mushrooms and little else, so it was a let down. Garlic soy chicken and fried rice were definitely winners, though!

I placed an online order and I live an hour away so I had the option to have it ready for 4pm through the online ordering. Funny thing is - I got a text a few minutes later saying they received my order and 12 minutes later, my $125 order was ready.. I called and asked why my order was ready so fast considering I had it time stamped to be ready for 4pm since I'm driving there.. the girl was nice and stuttered about having it remade... let's be real guys.. I can taste the difference.. I started chomping on it as soon as I got it in the car and the chicken tenders were dry af.. the sauce on the chicken was barely sauced.. my fries were soggy.. the only thing that stayed consistent were the pork buns and the pickled radish.. Listen I get it.. you can't waste $125 worth of food.. but please don't tell me you'll remake it and not actually do it. Just say you can't.. people make mistakes.. and now I'm just sad and I will just have to find to Boston from now on to make my bon chon trip.. I'm also just really sad that the spicy isn't spicy anymore. If you're going to up charge through this pandemic, please don't cut costs in the quality of the chicken. That's what you're known for.

Writing another review because of the second bad experience I had here. My friend and I ordered for pick up on the app. I ordered a side of kimchi and we requested utensils. We were at school doing homework and needed something to munch on. Drove to bonchon to pick up the order and back to school. They forgot to pack the kimchi, and there were no napkins or utensils. I had to call and let them know we were missing an item. The person on the phone said “oh yea we ran out of kimchi”.. okay so why didn’t you let us know when we were picking up the order? I don’t care if it’s just 3 bucks, I still paid for something I didn’t receive and your employee didn’t even let us know. Were you going to just plan on keeping my money if I hadn’t called? So then I asked her if she can refund me and she said she can’t but her manager can when she’s in tomorrow morning. So the manager wasn’t working the night shift, a little strange that there’s no one there who can process the refund, but whatever I left my name and number and the employee said they would call back tomorrow morning. It’s around 12 pm and I hadn’t received a phone call, so I call again and ask for the manager, she’s not there, according to the girl on the phone. I tell the girl about the situation and she seemed utterly confused and pretty much useless and tells me to call back at 6 pm when the manager arrives. Where the hell are the managers when you need them?? Why isn’t anyone else able to process a refund? Customer service here seems unorganized and really unprofessional. There was not a single person that I thought was helpful. Here’s a tip, update your app if you’re out of an item or at least inform the person upon arrival or offer a...
