I am a Minister and my Church and I go to this place all the time after Service on Sundays and after meetings on Saturdays some time. Usually the food is good. My wife and I had the Fisherman's plate 2 times and it was delicious. I bought one this past Wednesday night and it was overcooked and tasteless. The onion rings were fried so dark (as well as the rest of the seafood) that it crumbled and the onions inside were almost cooked away. They gave me another onion ring and the onions were cut as in slices of a half onion. I was so disappointed and the fish etc. was so bland that I had to put several packets of salt on it. The haddock was overcooked and tasteless, the clams were overcooked and like rubber, the scallops overcooked and like rubber. I knew that the food was not going to be like the Jimmy's seafood platter that we enjoyed in the past. I got so disgusted that I began to just throw it all in the trash; but then I thought to save a good deal of it to show the Owner Bill the next day...after all, this was $30.00 for an inedible plate of Seafood. Bill, the Owner, went home at 2 pm when I tried to call him the next day. Today I got him and he apologized but when I asked him if he will comp me he refused stating he doesn't make money on the Fisherman's plate. I told him my congregation of 400 - 500 people frequent his restaurant for years and we never had a complaint before, he still refused to say even "Come in and we will give you another one." He began to be rude and said you ate the meal and you want to be comped for it? I told him I did not eat the whole meal only a small portion and I saved the meal to show him. He then said you are the same guy who said there wasn't enough chicken on the chicken pizza. What??? I told him I have never ordered a chicken pizza there EVER and he has me mixed up with someone else. Bottom line I told him he must need the $30.00 more than me after he was so rude and disgustingly told me to bring the food down to him. Bill you need to be a better businessman. Losing hundreds of dollars because you didn't want to make good on a lousy prepared $30.00 Fisherman's plate is ludicrous and you need better Customer Service and people skills to keep customers coming back spending way more than $30.00. 400-500 people will be advised not to patronage your restaurant ever again. May God bless you and...
Read moreI would like to start off by saying, I’ve been ordering from Jimmy’s Pizza Too for about 10 years now. This is the first time I have ever had a bad order, let alone two in a row. It’s sad to write this bc my kids and I love this place and I love supporting local. I always get a fried scallop plate, and got double fries. BEFORE this mess, they were priced reasonably, the amount, and the quality I got was always so delicious. Juicy sweet and plump fried dry scallops, and very crispy steak fries, not salted. It’s always my go to.
In January 2025, I decided to order my usual, and got my kids their favorite, baked haddock. Haddock was fine, but the scallops I received were VERY chemical tasting, metallic, and very dry/flaky and I honestly spit my food out. Every single scallop smelled awful. I had called to see if I can just get a chicken tender plate with fries and sent my plate back with the driver. First off, the price difference was at least $15, and I didn’t even get a refund. It wasn’t like I ate half the plate and said it was bad, I took one bite of the scallops and gagged. Then smelled all of them and said HELL NO. It was a full plate I sent back, so I was owed the difference, but I bite my tongue and just accepted the loss of $15.
I avoided ordering from Jimmy’s in February, even for my birthday. Tonight, I was too tired to cook after having a big event and figured maybe they did resolve the issue. NOPE! The price went up a few more bucks, and the smell of the scallops were the same as before, I had a little ptsd. I wasn’t going to bother calling again and wasting another $40 on awful chemical “wet” scallops. I work as a Chef, and honestly I’d rather just go through the trouble of making it myself going forward.
I like the other food, their subs are okay, chicken tender plate is good. But if I’m paying for one of the most expensive plates and can’t even get that right? I’m out. Jimmy’s, you’ve lost my business. Very very...
Read moreThe WORST experience ever. I ordered online through their online site. My transaction was all set it said order completed and that I’d receive a confirmation email… my card company send me a text seconds after I made this purchase stating I had spent 48 dollars at Jimmys Pizza Too… tell me how I go there and they have no information on my order. And had the nerve to get upset and off the bat instead of helping me out trying to figure out what happened because clearly it’s on their end. They threatened to call the cops on me because I was aggravated that they took my money where being rude and giving me no information at all on what happened only thing they said was I put my card information in wrong. How’s that possible when they took my money out my account if I put my information in wrong they wouldn’t have my debit card number to take the money out of !! If they would have been helpful and gave good costumer service it would have needed so different. Girl at the front and the manager couldn’t even do a little of research and looked in the online orders or look my order up by my card number. Like that almost 50 bucks. Unprofessional. Rude. And the fact they wanted to call the cops I wasn’t raising my voice I wasn’t being confrontational I was asking questions on why you took my money but can’t give me not one answer that makes sense or at least help me out or...
