๐š‚๐š‘๐šŠ๐š‹u ๐š‚๐š‘๐šŠ๐šŒ๐š” | ๐Ÿ“ San Jose, CA | 4/5 Okay, now I get the hype on why it's quality over quantity hot-pot. While I will always have a love for all you can eat hot-pot, Shabu Shack def opened my eyes to the delicious high quality meats they offer! We ordered two Large plates 1. American Kobe 2. Angus Lean Beef These meats were so delicious and the cuts were generous sizes and was so delicious you can seriously taste the quality. These two large plates were enough to feed 3 hungry customers and leave us satisfied! While both of them were so good and tender, my fav would have to be the American Kobe Beef! Each platter offers you your choice of broth(s) We went with the: 1. Spicy Sichuan (Medium) 2. Spicy Miso Both were delicious! & Finally your choice of noodles (some require additional payment to upgrade I chose the Ramen noodles, my BF got Vermicelli, and my bestie got Udon! They also provide you with a bowl of assorted veggies. While the food is definitely 5/5, I will have to dock off a star because I personally prefer to have my own personal hot pot bowl/stove so I can keep my noodles and veggies separate from others. If I was going with just one person it would be okay here since they offer one burner with a split bowl to accommodate two different broths. I would also prefer to choose my own veggies because I feel like a lot of mine went to waste since they aren't typically what I would pick. It is also an additional price for more noodles and sides. For an additional .25 cents you can get their Shack Sauce and honestly- SO WORTH IT!! It was spicy but also had this amazing sweetness to it. Splitting the bill by 3 came out to about $25 per person and overall a reasonable price for some amazing hot-pot! I am happy that there is finally a hotpot place in Northern Massachusetts. This place has a cool interior. Got a good metro vibe to it. The menu is very simple. You order the items you want, like meats, veggies, tofu, etc. There is no combo choices. So expect to spend quite a bit for a complete meal (meat + starch + veggie). You can pick two soups to start, then order what food items to cook (by yourself). Right now they are doing a soft opening. The waitress told me to expect a long wait for the food. I ended up waited for about 45 minutes. Because I read the reviews ahead of time, I was watching YouTube while waiting. It wasnโ€™t too annoying. The quality of meat was good. But I wish there were larger portions. Obviously you can always order more. Overall, I think the experience is positive. But because it is not a all you can eat place, you will need to spend a bit more money if you want to fill your stomach. The waitress was very friendly.

I usually don't post negative reviews on other business because I know its not easy to run a business. But today we had bad experience at this place when we brought the girls and their dance teacher there for lunch. We found multiple bugs from the hot pot soup / the watercress veggies, their veggies are probably not washed at all. And after that meal I have bellyache and diarrhea. The servers attitude was unacceptable, they denied those are bugs and insisted those are just spices from the herb...does spice have legs and wings? We asked to speak to a manager or owner but nobody stepped up to take responsibility except for those poor young waitresses who stood together with themselves not knowing what to do but to deny, they are so afraid to take any responsibility or apologize, we still paid for the meal (with a 15% discount and one free drink and no apology). Won't go again or recommend anyone to go.

Need lots of improvement. Went twice. First time broth was bland but it was still their soft opening so gave them the benefit of the doubt. They also withheld basic sauces and condiments and the staff informed us that they had to "ration?" until customers ask for them. Weird. Went back with a different crew the second time, but again, broth was beyond bland as confirmed by a different set of tasters. Portions were small for the price they are charging. They skimped on the sauces and condiments again until you ask for them. Even skimped on the martini as it was only filled 2/3 of the glass. They weren't even being discrete about how stingy they were being. You'd think being a new establishment and all, they would try to win customers over in the beginning to build up the business. Staff can be friendly to stand-offish, depending on who you get. That could've been overlooked if the flavor of the food had at least made up for it. Won't be in a rush to go back. Maybe months to years down the road after they take customers' reviews seriously and work on their delivery. Side note: Two stars because other foods such as appetizers were...

This by far is the best Hot Pot that I have had period. The photos you see do not disappoint. Itโ€™s a classy and polished atmosphere that wonโ€™t break the bank. I highly recommend this place for a date. The food doesnโ€™t slack on presentation and tastes even better. Beef is served with dry ice: how about that for dramatic affect? My expectations where blown. If you have never had hot pot, this is a good place to start. The options seem overwhelming, but the choice of seafood, beef or vegetable pots can really narrow that down without taking away for the experience. Something that I have not seen at other hot pot restaurants are shared pots that only require one hot plate. There was less to worry about and the divided pot could hold two broths. This sounds like a small detail, but it can made a big difference in terms of space and efficiency, especially if you are sharing a meal with someone close. My only complaint was that the tables were a little low. Still, the flavor of the beef broth will have you fixated on picking and choosing what you are going to put in your pot next. With all of the positive factors, this was truly...

If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than WTF Restaurant! This place is hands down the best spot for hot pot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a clean and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a fantastic meal.

The service was truly outstandingโ€”our waiter was attentive, friendly, and incredibly quick with our orders. They really knew the menu well and offered great recommendations for both the hot pot options and drinks. Speaking of drinks, the selection was impressive and perfectly complemented our meal.

The hot pot itself was delicious, with a variety of fresh ingredients to choose from, ensuring that everyone can find something they love. Each broth was flavorful, and the overall experience was just delightful.

Overall, WTF Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. If youโ€™re a fan of hot pot or just looking for a great meal, I highly recommend checking this place out! You wonโ€™t be...
