This is such a beautiful place; low key area, with such a calm atmosphere. I love the decor, the fire place area that they created was cute. Not real but still nice. They have a humble menu and I love how they explain how if they’re busy to please be patient because they take pride in their food being as fresh as possible rather than a fast food chain. When it came to the food, I was in love. Another great Thai cuisine spot I needed in my life, especially since moving to Lowell from Everett/Somerville. They had great octopus balls; which were filled with amazing flavour. The coconut water had the meat in it to show off some art to it and that basil rice plate had my taste buds wanting more even if it was spicy! My partner had the crab Rangoon, and she said it was nice and crispy. We also each had a hot boa, and the pork belly was as a good as advertised. Service was great and respectable. Food came hot and warm and rather faster than I had initially expected which was great for my belly. I’m definitely coming back to try more of the menu, short and sweet, and that’s all you need for a great food selection. This is my Thai spot from now...

Khao Soi ($10.95). "Popular Northern style Yellow noodle in curry, chicken, boiled egg, red onion, pickles mustard sour." No choice of protein. I asked for it extra spicy, and it was spot on. The egg was cooked perfectly with an almost runny yolk. The pickles were excellent and tangy. The mustard sour was as expected. The noodles were either undercooked or pleasantly chewy, pick one. This was a surprisingly good Khao Soi. I'll be back to try more dishes from the somewhat limited menu. They took the order using a wireless card reader but went away to run the card. I thought this was a bit odd. Wicked flimsy napkins, please upgrade. Did they realize what the initials stand for?

Spicy Shoyu Paitan Ramen ($12.95) "Aroma soy sauce base and spicy red bean paste, pork belly, bamboo, mushroom, bean sprout and half soft boiled egg". I forgot to lift up the noodles, but it was the thinner variant that was cooked well. The pork was tender and tasty. The broth was fantastic, rich, aromatic, and spicy. Not overly spicy, just...

Pros: The inside is delightfully cute and looks pretty good, though it's a bit not finished. Not a bad date spot. Takoyaki was good. Pad Thai was great Food is well-priced. Loc lac is not bad, though some thicker pieces were undercooked.

Mehs: Ramen is mediocre, not hand-made noodles and the pork needed to be seared and seasoned more. Broth is good though. I might be judging it a bit harsh though, considering it's only $11. Service needed a little bit of work, I was one of two customers and had a hard time getting the server's attention. Decoration needs to be finished, there are some frames that don't have pics in it, which is a shame cuz it would look great when completed!

Cons: Nothing that sticks out!

Conclusion: Needs a tiny bit of polish but it's a really great place overall with cheap, good food. We definitely need a lot more than that in Lowell. Overall, will definitely...

I went to eat with my mom to try the place out. We were the only customer at the time and did not go during rushed dinner hour. The host/waitress weren't friendly or inviting. The options were limited and small portions. The pork belly bao was good. Spicy miso ramen was plain but I'm not sure if its because I had the pork belly bao first. My mom liked her boat noodle soup, but was also disappointed with the small size. We had asked for water and was given kiddie sized glasses which I finished in one swig. Waitress did not refill even after seeing me slurp it in front of her, had to ask someone else, who also didn't refill after I finished it a second time in front of her. I wouldn't want to go back, very small space to feel ignored by staff.
