Wendy's — Restaurant in Lowell

This Wendy's location is absolutely GREAT! I come here frequently and I never have an issue with any part of my experience. The food is always fresh and hot I always order my favorite, a Fish Sandwich Combo Meal and the fries are always fresh out of the fryer and the fish is always top quality. When I open the wrapper, the sandwich is always neatly assembled and I can tell it was done so with care and good intention. As a person who at one time worked in fast food, I know that sometimes you may be asked to "pull up" to wait for something to be cooked freshly for you. And I am happy to wait patiently because the person who has let me know is doing so with a smile and an assurance that my wait will be well worth it. That leads me next to mention the OUTSTANDING customer service I ALWAYS receive at this Rogers St. location. These (mostly) younger people at the drive thru both taking orders over the speaker and at the window for point of sale have GREAT attitudes! The smile and easygoing demeanor from each different person I encounter there are what keep me going back every week. Big ups to the manager for creating a work environment that his/her employees can be proud of. You are a positive influence on your team. And kudos to all the staff toiling in a fast-paced kitchen. Very Rude. Never go there Again!! I went to order a 4 for 4 and asked for a cheese fry instead of regular fries, which I've done a million times at many other Wendy's and have not had a problem. But they wouldn't allow it at this Wendys. I usually pay a upgrade fee I think like 99cents to add it but this Rude guy says cheese fries are Not allowed on Any Meals and have to be purchased separately. I tried to explain I've done it before and I don't want the baconator fries or anything I jus want simple cheese added to my fries but he continued to be rude and argue with me. He says that location doesn't do that. Ok well I'm not buying a extra fry I'm not going to eat so you can make extra money or because you don't know how to work the buttons to +cheese to a simple fry. The experience I had tonight at Wendy's was going to be so LIT, but unfortunately was very much not LIT thanks to some Latino MoFo with a mullet. I just needed some friggin honey mustard (NOT RANCH) on my home style chicken wrap, but I got ranch... and every one of the other orders in the car had something wrong with them too. Maybe it was just late and he couldn't keep himself on point, or maybe he was so miserable that he wanted to screw as many people over to try to make their lives as miserable as his, but either way our food was screwed up and rather than go back and ask for the right thing we were non-confrontational and ate it anyway. Please don't fire the clown, but make sure he's up to snuff next time....
