Honestly, I have tried to give this place a shot more than it deserves, but last night will be the last time. For starters, I ordered an Italian hoagie with extra capicola and spinach— the spinach was FROZEN previously, little bits haphazardly tossed on there, and they did not add the salami + the capicola tasted like a cross between a bologna and spam. The quality was awful, and my sandwich was half wet because nobody cared enough to blot the sweet peppers. I threw half of it out, aiming to rectify this another day by a more reliable shop. Carlino’s charges the same price for an extremely well done sandwich with great quality meats, et al. Even Primo’s Hoagies , a chain, can manage something better than this lack of a decent hoagie.
I also ordered a buffalo chicken pizza where the chicken was obviously days old, and the buffalo sauce was barely there. You can drown it in blue cheese sauce all you’d like, the texture still comes through and the pizza crust/base was also soft and bland.
The only saving grace, surprisingly, was my husband’s chicken parmigiana sandwich. This was not a complicated order, yet the ingredients do not stand up to par with even WAWA! When I get a hoagie from Wawa on my lazier days, they offer spinach and it’s FRESH! It’s agitating to me when restaurants needlessly cut costs in...
Read moreWe used to order from Ardmore pizza on a weekly basis until today! After the third time of not having enough money for a large group order, we scutinized our receipt and noticed all of the crazy extra charges!! Ordered a large stromboli with extra sauce on side and was charged $2.25 for a dixie cup filled with sauce!! When I pointed out that a jar of Ragu costs that much, the manager told me their sauce is better than Ragu, PLEASE, I've worked at many a pizza place and the marinara is out of a can! We were also charged $1.10 for cheese and the managers response, "Cheese is $3 a pound!" WHAT??? Again, its cheese out of a can... are you kidding me????? The manager did say he would refund us $.60 for the honey mustard that was in place of the ranch on one sandwich, wasn't that sweet? It's a shame that Ardmore Pizza's rent is so expensive that they can't afford to buy sliced american cheese that was supposed to be on a sandwich and instead used shredded cheese. Get out of here with that! So, thank you Ardmore Pizza for proving that the money you make is more important than the customer's happiness. I doubt it'll be your high rent that will put you out...
Read moreI ordered alot of food for my family from here 2 weeks ago. I ordered 2 "large" chicken cheese steaks with with exrra cheese. 1 of the cheesesteaks didn't even have any cheese on it. The steaks size was so small I thought it looked like a size for a child. I also ordered a large pizze that ended up being the size of a small. And it looked like someone counted every single piece of topping that was placed on the pizza. The grilled chicken salad I order was thrown together and it tasted disgusting. The portions were ridiculously small and some of the food was cold. I spent almost $70 all together. This place is a total rip off. I spent $70 at other pizza shops and these shops were fair with their portions. Whoever owns this shop doesn't reallywantt to be fair with what they give you. I can't believe that this place feela comfortable with treating customers like this and how greedy they are. I suggest Don't waste your money here like I did and go...
