We entered the restaurant which is seat yourself, which is no problem. My girlfriend, my daughter and myself pick a table back in the corner so that our 8 month old daughter would be out of the way of other guest. We grabbed a high chair and noticed a considerable amount of grime on it. We started wiping it with our baby wipes while the staff stood by watching. After using 8 wipes we got the chair to a quasi acceptable status. Still no offer from the staff. The waitress instead asked if we wanted drinks while we got ready.... Now I am not any type of germaphobe but the wiped were brown when we were done with them. This should have been a sign to leave, but my hunger and desire to eat lead to the disaster that follows.
Now to the food. We ordered garlic bread with cheese two Cesar sides and the red white and green pizza. The "garlic bread" consisted of a hogie roll cut in half with a thick layer of margirin melted with a single layer of what I think I made out as American cheese. This was also burnt around the edges Ceaser side was a sloppy dressed plate of romaine with a few croutons. And the pizza was overloaded with ricotta to hide the fact that the broccoli was frozen from a bag and the tomatoes were under ripe. The crust was not strong enough to hold up to the weight of the slice
All of this being said I usually only use this forum to help business' grow. But after this expiernece I feel as though I owe this one to the general public.

I am not sure what happened with in 1 week. What part of an Italian Cold Cut says toast in an oven warm lunch meet? I didn't complain at all as I was trying to bite in to a seriously hard roll I open the sub peeling away the melted cheese on top ( nasty) to see there was 2 slices of ham not capacolia just p.ain ham underneath stacked sweet peppers and onion. Along with tomato and lettuce ( did not want tomato and lettuce to find 2 slices of salami that was it 2 slices of regular ham 2 slices of salami. We seen the waitress 3 times once when she took the order, when she brought the food then when she brought the bill. On the bill we were charged for the sweet peppers and onions that were on both subs. Never have I ever been charged for a sub and separate the things that come on the sub. And the waitress had already added her 10 dollar tip in bringing the total for 2 subs and a personal pizza tonearly 50 dollars. We will never eat in there again . 50 dollars for a hot cold cut sub with 4 pieces of meet a waitress that only showed up to take the order bring the order and then bring the bill. The week before the food was awesome we ordered the same exact food the sub was a true Italian cold cut. The bill was only 37 dollars what a horrible change in 1 week. The only difference I noticed was the owners were there the 1st week and they...
Read moreThis is small pizzeria up in Oxford, PA. I had lunch here with my brother recently when we gave this place a try. Upon walking in it's kinda like walking back in time. Wood paneling. Paper placemats with advertisements on them, etc.
It was about 12:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon and we were the only customers that I could see. I wasn't sure what to make of the place. There was an open air kitchen off to the right side that was empty. We seated ourselves when no one showed up to seat us.
Eventually our server did show up with some menus and we ordered drinks. We decided to get a large pizza with Pepperoni and Italian Sausage. The pizza looked pretty good when it arrived. The dough was fresh and the pepperoni was good to, however the Italian Sausage was bleh. It wasn't spoiled or anything, it just wasn't (in my opinion anyway) a good Italian Sausage.
We didn't see our server again until she brought us the check. Never offered refills, etc. Both of us came to the same conclusion and all I have to say was that the whole experience was decidedly mundane. Absentee server. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. meh... I think once was enough...
