Bear Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Lower Oxford Township

I had a very bad experience today at this Bear Bubble Tea location. I ordered a milk tea, the girl asked me what sugar level I wanted, all was well. Until I got my drink. It was filled to the TOP with ice, leaving barely any room for the actual tea. It was literally 90% ice and 10% tea. Mind you, she did NOT ask what my preferred ice level was, and even though my cup said “regular ice level” that was WAY more than “regular” ice. It was all ice and no tea. My partner also had “regular ice level” on his drink and even his drink had less ice than mine. So I go back up to the register to ask the girl if she can fix my drink, I tell her that it’s way too much ice and barely any tea, and I tell her this as nice as possible, because I know things like this happen. She looked SO inconvenienced and bothered when I requested a new drink, and it was weird because the store was empty(Monday afternoon), so it’s not like she had anything else to do. I was truly appalled at her attitude because she didn’t ask ME how much ice I wanted, she just assumed. Not only that, but it feels like they’re being stingy because it’s common sense that the more ice you use in a cup, the less room for liquid there is. Now here’s the cherry on top, when they gave me the “fixed” drink, it tasted VERY watered down like they had just taken my old drink, dumped it in a new cup and put water in it to make it seem like they put more tea! Not only that but there was literally 3 single pieces of ice. How petty can you be? Kung fu tea puts 1/3 of the cup size of ice in their drinks, THATS regular ice and that’s what I thought I was gonna get. Cute little boba shop. The boba and horchata drinks were both tasty and the boba was cooked very well.

The waffle was good but it could have used whipped cream or something similar to tie everything together.

Service was Very slow… We waited around 25 to 30 minutes to get our items and the plain waffle we ordered to go was missing.. but when we mentioned it they made it right away.

If I’m ever in the area again I’ll for sure stop by and grab...
