1)Chili's that were brought to the table, were cold and had to be sent back. 2) Quesadilla ordered as a meal...asked for it to be brought out with everyone's entree. (So we could all eat together) Was brought as an appetizer. 3) salads were not brought out before meals. Was brought WITH the meals. 4) We stopped going to the other location because food was always cold or not right. Told the waitress NICELY, please make sure my meal is hot...and told her why. Then chili's came out cold. Daughters NY strip Was cold, and not cooked how it was ordered. 3) my chicken meal was cold. Mashed potatoes were cold. (After telling them to be sure it was hot when it came out) Sent it back . Still wasn't hot when it came back out. 4) daughter never received her salad. They had to make it go. 5) another person with us ....burger and fries were cold. We were given another tables food , for 2 meals, then they had to we switched. They servers that had to deal with all the problems , were very nice. Not their fault. But after that many things wrong, a manager never came to speak to us. When the bill came..... We were charged full price for everything. No discounts. No cold meals were removed. Most of our food was all packaged up and brought home.... So, we could heat it at home and eat a hot meal. So my daughter said, to the waitress, "you guys aren't going to take anything of the bill at all for any of this. ?" Everyone kept apologizing that our experience was so terrible everytime they took something back, and then bringing our boxes. Then the waitress says, my manager isn't here , so I really can't talk to anyone about it, or DO anything about it. I said..."I'll just put this all in a Review online then. I'm done with Underdogs! Been dealing with this for years, because my husband likes to go there for their Quesadilla's. Told him tonight, then he needs to find another place to get his quesadilla!! Wings and quesadillas are about the only thing you get there that they can do right!! I give ZERO stars! But that...
Read moreLet me start by saying we love the food and service at the original location on Paxton St. This review is for the newer location on Rt 22/Allentown Blvd. 3 of us went on Saturday night for dinner. It wasn’t overly busy when we arrived and we were seated quickly in the back room. We sat for about 20 minutes waiting for our waitress to come over. I eventually flagged down another waitress who said we weren’t in her section and she waved over our waitress. After taking our drink and food order we eventually got our drinks. We ordered 2 waters, a coke, a salad, 3 orders of boneless wings and cheese fries. Nothing complicated or crazy. Another hour went by and our waitress never once came back over to ask us if we needed anything or to update us on our long wait for food. I went up to the hostess stand and asked if they could check on our food. After a few minutes the hostess came to our table and said our food wasn’t done and she didn’t know how much longer it would be. In the meantime, 2 other tables that were seated after us had already finished eating and left. Many of the servers were on their phones or busy talking to each other (we’ve experienced this other times we’ve dined there as well). We got up and left.
We immediately went to the Paxton St location (because despite this bad service we do enjoy the food and have never been disappointed at Paxton St). We were sat immediately and had our order taken, drinks brought out and our food in front of us in 30 minutes.
Even though the Allentown Blvd location is more convenient for us, we will chose to go to the Paxton st location...
Read moreThis was one of the most shocking and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My friend’s AirPods were stolen, and we tracked them using the Find My app. The signal led us from downtown Harrisburg all the way to this restaurant. To our disbelief, we discovered that one of the employees working there had the stolen AirPods in their possession.
This was not a misunderstanding. We had solid tracking information, and it was clear that the employee had taken something that didn’t belong to them. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in any business, especially one that deals with the public.
I do want to mention that one of the female staff members was cooperative and helpful throughout the situation. She assisted us in getting to the bottom of it, and we’re genuinely grateful for her professionalism during such a tense moment.
Still, it’s incredibly troubling that a working employee—representing the business—was responsible for the theft in the first place. Customers should feel safe and respected, not have to chase down their stolen property to the very place that’s supposed to be serving them.
Until the management addresses this situation properly and takes accountability, I cannot recommend this establishment. If you visit, be extremely cautious with your...
