The location is no frills. To spite it's humble exterior and basic interior, the food is good. The cost is about the same as elsewhere. 3 tacos are included in an order. There is no mix and match, you get one type of meat on all three. Only cilantro and onion are added to a taco with lime on the side. I ordered the chorizo tacos "platter" . Spicy, flavorful and delicious. The beans and rice are good and the rice was fresh. The cilantro tasted fresh. My friend ordered the chicken adobo. I enjoyed the chicken taco also. Flavorful, moist and tasty. Do not ignore this place when you're looking for tacos over lunch. Stop in and eat in as there is seating available. While no frills, the tables and kitchen are clean.

Little spot on Jonestown road, if you blink, you'll miss it! Menu items from pizza to Mexican fare. Its BYOB and they only have bottled beverages (no fountain). My boyfriend initially wanted a steak stromboli (listed on the menu) but was told they didn't have it. So we both ordered burritos. It was a decent burrito, I got a chicken and chorizo (extra cost for the extra meat). Nice size, good flavor. As an appetizer we ordered the chips with cheese and salsa, which was nothing more than a plate of store bought tortilla chips with little bit of shredded cheese melted (microwaved) on top. Disappointed. Salsa was homemade and tasted pretty good. Overall not super impressed 🤷‍♀️

Yesterday we decided to go get some tacos. We looked on Yelp in saw that Taco King had a whole bunch of good ratings. My buddy, my wife and I decided to go there for dinner. The tacos were great, the beef tongue tacos was amazing. My wife got the enchilada shrimp cocktail and she really enjoyed them. I enjoyed my platter too but at the end I realize that they messed up on my order. I ordered a Carne Asada platter with two additional taco but only got two three Taco platter so essentially I paid for two more tacos that I never received and I didn't notice until after the fact.

I order the al pastor and that was not very good . I had this after taste that I could not think of that ot was not salty. But I finally realize what it was it was garlic salt. Way too much of it there should be no garlic salt in Mexican food garlic powder garlic itself but no garlic salt. It seems to throw off the burrito completely. Also the rice seems like it was a boil bag rice not very authentic. Honestly this is my first and last time ever going there. My wife had a Carnitas quesadilla and that what's not very good I took one bite of it and realized that the pork was quite old maybe a day or longer you can taste it in the quesadilla. The chili wasn't very hot it was okay. As I said before this is the first and last time that I will ever go there. This was recommended by someone saying that they had the best al pastor burrito. For what I paid for the burrito is not worth it it's may be worth $7 at most. For what I paid normally I get double the size this burrito was a roughly a size of a frozen burrito you buy at a store. I hate to be harsh about this but honestly this was...

we went to eat today.. service was extremely bad, my wife and I were the only one and not a, HI HOW ARE YOU GUYS. The lady was sitting, she looked at us and said absolutely nothing and went into the kitchen. we had to wait about 20 min, She came to the front and just looked at us but didn't say anything and by that time i was already a little upset because they didn't say anything at all, as if we already knew the routine ( it was our first time) I looked at her and asked her, do you take the order or do I have to go to you to order the food? and with an unfriendly tone her husband and she told me you have to come here to order. It is the first and last time that I go. beside the prices are very expensive. el mariachi restaurant in elizabethtown is the best restaurant that I have try, great service and cheap and 100% recommended Mexican...

I am writing this review both for the benefit of users, as well as in hopes that someone at Taco King may read it.

Pros -VERY Delicious food -Wide selection of dishes -Clean booths inside -Friendly staff

Cons -no vegetarian options (hint: pupusas con queso y frijoles)

Taco King is, by far, one of the best Mexican/Latino food places I’ve ever been to. Everything I’ve ever tried there is absolutely scrumptious. My wife’s family is originally from El Salvador, and even they are impressed with how good the food is (I wish they had pupusas). The only thing is they don’t have any vegetarian options (wife recently became vegetarian). If they did, we would be going at least once a week. If you go on and sit to eat, they serve you at your booth. Take a minute to look at some of their decorations. It’s decorated with tributes to...
