I don't know maybe because they are in a little corner the vibe is just nonchalant and melancholy. There is no way at 4:30 in the morning there is no blueberry cobbler. Already made or going cold. I hate that people are always doing things out of preference instead of just doing their job. Lto regular decaf should be up. the limited edition coffee shouldn't be closed at any point and then to offer making some as an option. Then to keep repeating I can make it if you want me to not the fact that she should just be making it baffled me. she just wanted to tell me how the manager said don't make coffee which is 100% irresponsible and not efficient. so I proceeded to ask her is that this Wawa only which she kept getting stuck to answer well because all she know is her manager told her during the overnight don't make coffee unless people ask for it. I asked her multiple times are you sure that's all Wawa or is it just this Wawa. But also the sad part is you never found the time to try to even get better and start making coffee anyway if they told you to not make coffee during the night shift it's probably because you're slow and can't handle it. I've worked the drink station coffee station and I can guarantee I can walk in there and run it by myself and I haven't been behind the counter in years. It's about consistency and time. After you clear your shakes off the screen go check your coffee don't go in the back to grab a sip of your drink text your friend go talk to someone on the line do your job. Simple things shouldn't be this hard. I understand the coffee station is 2 stations. Maybe it's time to implement a timer or alarm if it's that bad. But it's more than just that it's management. It seems there is no understanding of team culture there, or the goose missed here. If I ask you to make coffee.. ITS FREEEEEEEE CUZ YOUR LACKING, AND I HAD TO WAIT. BOTH THOSE. so after waiting the old lady charged me for a 20oz. after teaching that bcuz I'm waiting it's free no apologies just hand me a 16oz voucher for a free coffee after I paid for a 20oz. It's the common brain power that eludes the leader so there isn't any to trickle down to the rest of the team. So here I am at another Wawa 20 minutes away and they have blueberry. It said I didn't even want to wait I had two bad situations 2 days in a row and to have to choose for your own sense of sanity to drive 5 extra minutes to go to another Wawa it's sad. Walked in got the welcome to Wawa and everything just a 20-minute drive is a whole...
Read moreI have never had an issue with Wawa before. If you ask anyone I know, everyone will say how much I love the place. I was super excited to know that one was pretty close to me. My boyfriend and I have made day trips to go over an hour away for Wawas because we both love it. Today, we went in, and my boyfriend had a mobile order while I placed a food order in-store. There were no signs or directions on where mobile ordering pickups would be. We just waited until his number was called. It had been about 10 minutes more than what his pickup time had said, but still, we waited. One of the workers behind the counter rudely questioned what we were waiting for. I responded, saying that we had just been waiting on my boyfriend's online order and an espresso shot I had ordered, which I had checked on quite a few times. She pointed over to a non-visible section, supposedly the mobile order pickup, with an attitude. Okay, we didn't see that, but the sass I received from an employee was never to be expected. I would never dare to treat one of my customers like that at my place of work. When we got to the part of the convo of what I was waiting on, I was aware that food and drinks are placed out differently, so I checked quite a few times for my drink item and was listening for my number. I didn't hear my number, didn't see my drink. When I asked, she went over to the drink stuff, pointing at my item that was just placed like I was stupid. She treated us very poorly, and I don’t think I'll be coming back. Everyone in the kitchen was gossiping. there were f bombs thrown around. overall not a great experience. i’m very...
Read moreI would like to start by saying I love Wawas. It is by far my favorite gas station, and it pains me to have to write such a negative comment on a place I find so great. Me and my family. Love making the trips to Wawas. We don’t live close to one so when we saw that they were opening new ones nearby we were extremely excited. We have driven trips that were an hour and a half before to go to Wawa locations, before they became more local. The location at Middletown Harrisburg Pike is the one in my regard. Me and my girlfriend went today to get snacks and drinks. I placed an online order and it was the first time I had ever placed one, so I was not used to the place to pick my order up. I waited at the regular pickup 15 minutes after my orders pickup time, trying to not be a hassle, I then had a staff ask me in a rude tone “what’re you even waiting for?” We replied and showed her my order in the app and she just replied “a mobile order?” With a mocking tone and pointed. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. All in all just a big let down. I’m not impressed. Would rather make the trip to the further ones for...
