Luna Azteca — Restaurant in Lower Yoder Township

I really am in disbelief of what just happened. We’ve been going here religiously over the past year. I ordered take-out, and arrived home to find that we were missing the salsa. I love their salsa and had even paid for an extra one. So, I drove back to the restaurant and requested both salsa containers; explaining that we didn’t receive any salsa. The manager(?) told me that they put the salsa in with the chips, but I explained that it wasn’t in with the chips and reiterated that we hadn’t received any. I also told him that we get take-out from here frequently and know how they package it. He again said that it’s in with the chips and returned from the kitchen with one salsa container (my extra). I looked at him and again explained that we hadn’t received any and that I was supposed to have two containers. He once again said that it’s in with the chips and then with a smirk and condescending laugh said “but I’ll get you one anyway”. I further explained that I thoroughly inspected the chips and wouldn’t have driven back to the restaurant had I had any salsa.

So to recap, after a long day at work I had to drive back to the restaurant to get items they left off of my order. Rather than apologize and perhaps offer something extra for my inconvenience the manager(?) argued with me over stupid salsa and made it appear that I was trying to either “get one over on them” or that I didn’t thoroughly check my order before demanding more salsa. This is so stupid. Why in the World would they treat a customer like that? Why did we have to have a conversation about salsa and it’s packaging? I can’t help but think that there would have been no problem had I been a male or an attractive female.

Well I guess I won’t be coming back if this is how they treat customers. This is so upsetting and...

I chose to stop here for a weekday dinner this week, because it was convenient and I had never been inside before - I have to be totally honest here and say why - their front door is always dirty. It has streaks and handprints that are visible from the road as you pass by, and it actually deters us.

The food was okay. The chips and salsa were good, but we were not asked prior to dinner orders if we would like any guacamole or queso, but we chose to order queso anyway after our main food order was placed. I chose a 'bistec' (thin flat steak) with an adobado sauce - which when I asked for a description of, (thinking it was a version of adobo?) I was told by my server they had not tried it, but 'did not think it was spicy'. I am okay with some spice to my food, so I ventured for it. It was indeed spicy. I was able to enjoy it regardless, with the accompanying avocado / mash / salad..

My dinner companion ordered a different dish altogether, and it was covered in the same sauce (not disclosed on the menu) - she would have liked some sour cream to accompany, but never again did our server visit the table until it was clear we were no longer eating.  I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying the place, but I was...

So I called about an hour and a half before I had to pick up my food so they had enough time in case they were busy… I looked at THIER menu online before ordering. On the menu there was 2 different choices of a t bone steak…. I get to the restaurant and the lady tells me they took the t bone off the menu so they couldn’t make it… They never called me to see if I wanted a substitute… they didn’t make the steak they do have… it was just wait until I came to pick it up to tell me my son has no meal… no discount for the inconvenience This is the 3rd and last problem I’ve had here. I’ve been dinning with this company since they were on scalp ave years ago. How do you take steak off your menu and not update the staff or men???!!! How didn’t the person that answered the phone know they just don’t have it… Was I supposed to go home and eat in front of my son and just tell him sorry they never called to see if you want something else, and didn’t just make the steak option they do have so just watch us eat… I can see bad service once maybe even twice but 3 times in 6 months to just my orders is a little unbelievable… I must have extremely bad luck everytime I...
