Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lower Yoder Township

Pizza Hut, please train your associates to NOT scream at the customer of there is an error on the pizza. I have been ordering from that Pizza Hut in Johnstown for over a year, almost 6 pizzas a month. FOR A YEAR. I have NEVER ordered bacon, even when we did eat meat. That is because we are Muslim. In December of last year, we went completely vegetarian. We have not had meat since then. I ordered my usual Pineapple stuffed crust pizza online, but I accidentally clicked the bacon button. I do not remember doing such, and was surprised to see bacon on my pizza. I called to say there had been a mistake, I never said it was THEIR mistake, and the woman that answered the phone screed at me saying "YOU PUT THE BACON THERE!! YOU DID IT!! I SEE IT ON THE PRINTOUT!!" I had to ask the woman to stop yelling at me. As a survivor of domestic violence, THIS was NOT the experience that I had hoped for. I had hoped for my suggested resolution to be an acceptable solution. I had suggested that they make a pizza without the bacon, and we trade pizzas. I did not at any point blame anyone for the mistake. I simply said there had been a mistake. I didn't even tell that screaming woman that my Mozzarella sticks were burned, as well as my vegetarian pasta. I was actually afraid to tell her that. I ended up having an anxiety attack and having to be medicated after the way she screamed at me and triggered the memories of my abuser. I didn't eat a bite of any of the food. I stayed in my room and cried because I didn't know what I had done to be screamed at like that. And when the manager got on the phone, he tried to make put lime I was trying to get a free pizza, when I ASKED send a new pizza and that they take the pork pizza back. Never did I try to keep the bacon pizza. My experience was so terrible, that I will never spend another dime at Pizza Hut. My family and I have loved Pizza Hut over every pizza place. But now, I will never give Pizza Hut my money again. A panic attack over a misordered pizza is NEVER the customer experience that one...

I went there a few weeks ago, I had a terrible experience. First when i walked into Westmont pizza hut, it was very dirty and dingy looking. I figured well maybe its just old, thats how it looks. When the waitress told us my boyfriend and i could sit anywhere. We picked a seat near the back. When I sat at the table, the table was very sticky. The glasses were dirty that my drink was in. When my boyfriend and i the salad bar. Everything looked old. It was not filled up. All the plates were dirty. I had a hard time finding a clean plate. Then we ordered wings instead. When we got the wings they looked like they had them in the back of the freezer for 10 years. They looked dry and old. I refused to eat anything at that point. Our waitress acted very ditzy. It didn't seem like she knew anything going on when she should have. I asked to speak to the manager who said when they clean the tables they end up sticky. I don't believe that at all! I went to multiple pizza huts, this one only had sticky tables. She apologized for the plates and glasses being dirty and the wings looking old. By that time our pizza was out she asked if we wanted to take our pizza along. I said Deffinitly not. I usually don't walk out of restraunts or call the manager over. Awesome. Today my son and I placed a pickup order. It was very quick the staff was very kind and the inside of the restaurant was noticably clean. We were greeted asked if we needed helped and promptly waited on. After we paid we walked out the door holding it open for an elderly couple. My 7yr old son was so happy to help he didn't see the curb as he stepped off and ended up taking one of the pizzas with him. We walked back in and explained the situation and in no time walked away with a fresh pizza. It was technically our fault and not the restaurants responsibility but the staff and manager did not hesitate and expedited us a new pizza. Who needs dominos pizza insurance when the Hut is so much better with kinder staff?! The Westmont evening staff should be praised. I know it's only a pizza but customer service goes a long way....
