Okay, I have been avoiding this place since it opened. It always looked too crowded, i guess due to the miniature parking lot. I finally took my family of 4 here for dinner. Cost was not surprising...around $45 for the 4 of us. The burgers rocked the house!! The onion rings were just OK because I like them thick and these were pretty thin but flavor was good! The fries are too thinly cut and greasy, but not bad with the Lowrys Season Salt on them and a touch of Ranch which tasted homemade and not from a large generic plastic jar! Staff was very nice and patient with us since we have never been there, we didnt realize that you had to order everything separately..lol go figure...poor girl at the counter probably thought we were crazy! LOL They have a really great menu, lots to choose from and customize. I do suggest that you do not sit near the restrooms though. They have that terrible smelling deodorizer and every time the door opens, the close tables get a good whiff of it! But the restaurant is quite big for its looks. The booths are HUGE! Fits a family of 6, possibly 8 depending on how old the kids are. Hubby had the cheese steak and it was "da bomb" as he put it. Our tweeny girls loved theirs too! One had chicken strips and the other a grilled chicken sandwich. Tea is pretty good too! So I do recommend going here! Just listen to the reviews...most...

This is a great place, we ordered burgers. I had a chili burger. It's a big burger for a women. I love the the fact the chilli, actually did not come on the burger but came on the side what a genius idea, this way the bun doesn't get soggy and you can put on as much as you like or as little. It was even enough to dip my fries in. The taste of the hamburger meat was delicious, like true hamburger and not processed meat. My husband had a cheeseburger , he doesn't like all the fixings on it and ordered it special, that is exactly how it came. Perfect. The Fries still have skin on them so you know they're not processed, cooked just right, we ordered a large fry and it was enough for the two of us. Nice to see a clean place and they clean each table right after someone leaves. Glass up between booths. The drink dispenser was clean as well. Great country music played while we ate and enjoyed out lunch. Oh, and it has a great view of the golf course and tiny lake. Has a back patio with fireplace as well. Hummmm maybe our next party will be here? Plenty of room. Pretty and relaxing. Thank you for great service. We...

If you're craving a seriously satisfying burger, Blue Sky Texas is the spot. This place doesn't just serve burgers — they perfect them. From the first bite, you know you're in for something special. The patties are thick, juicy, and cooked just right, with a smoky char that seals in flavor without drying them out.

What really sets Blue Sky apart is their attention to detail: fresh, buttery buns that hold up under pressure, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and an impressive variety of toppings — from crispy bacon to green chiles that give it that unmistakable Texas kick. The cheese melts like it was meant to be there, and every bite is packed with flavor.

Pair that with their golden, hand-cut fries and a cold shake or local craft beer, and you've got a meal that hits every craving. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for a casual lunch or a chill dinner with friends.

Bottom line: Blue Sky Texas serves up one of the best burgers in town — no frills, no gimmicks, just bold, honest flavor...

Ordered a double green chili burger with grilled jalapenos and onions, not sure why but these came on the side instead of on the burger. The green chilis were submerged in some kind of soup that I had to drain into several napkins before dumping the green chilis onto my burger. I had asked for a wheat bun, they were out. The burger tasted absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately the bun wasn't toasted well enough so halfway through it had gone soggy. I also ordered a large order of fries which were just cooked potatoes, absolutely no seasoning, no salt, no pepper, just cooked potatoes. I'm not exaggerating here, I think they forgot to season them because there was absolutely none. To add insult to injury I paid $3.49 for an order of them. Overall not a bad experience but it could have been great if they would have assembled my burger, toasted the bun, and seasoned the fries. The burger tasted so good in fact that I plan to try the other location and see if the quality is better.

We visited 2/29/20 after a long day out with sports tournaments. We were very hungry and Blue Sky sounded yummy. It did not disappoint. The burger and chicken fried steak were delicious and restorative. The ice tea bar offered several flavors and we tried coconut-refreshing and sweet. We didn’t have to wait long for our order to be processed. The restaurant was busy but there was plenty of parking and the lot was well lit. An employee was busy keeping tables cleaned off and sanitized. Patrons looked relaxed and happy. We had a good experience and feel confident recommending it to others.

Nice place, great atmosphere, and quick friendly service. Unfortunately, the food left a bit to be desired. I ordered the blue sky & fries. The fries were soggy, a bit overdone, and were a bit off taste. I would venture to say that they were in the top 5 of the worst fries I have had in the past 50 years. The twin burgers were heavily salted and a bit on the greasy side. The cheese sticks were however light and airy and I would order again. The onion rings were very close to the fries, and the fried mushrooms were saved by the great tasting ranch. All in all, I would not vist again.
