Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Lubbock

Location 2311 Ave. Q Lubbock TX. Every time we order from this location, we are always asked to pull forward after payment and have to sit for at least 20 minutes for our order to finally be brought to us at the same time in a group with the 2-3 customers who had ordered right after us. I am sick of having to wait until these employees finally decide to bring out 3-4 orders at once out to all the customers. This is bad business and a contradiction to "fast food". You take a customers order, you take their payment, you cook their food, you bring them their order AS SOON AS IT IS PACKAGED. You do NOT stack orders and take multiple customers orders out whenever you run out of room on the counter!!! My wife and I will NEVER be back to this location unless there is a permanent major rework in the system. The employees that are hired here need to get it together or ship out if they can't do things right. At one point they even tried to give us someone else's order of just 3 blizzard's. These employees had absolutely no clue what was going on and it was not a 30 car pile up. I counted 6 vehicles total and the only customers that were getting their orders were the ones getting just ice cream...the quickest and easiest thing to make while the customers ordering FOOD were left to wait until the employees felt like bringing all the food for all the customers out at once. Like I stated before, shape up...

We showed up about 20 minutez before closing and I understand people are ready to go home but if your open till 10PM you should greet last minute customerz the same as customerz from 5 o’clock. The cashier was kinda rude to the customerz ahead of us stating “we close in 15 minutes”. Ok cool, I wasn’t planning on eating there anyway because they already had few people in there and I only wanted a banana split. After she took our order and reminded us they closed in 10 minutez she went on to do what appeared to be closing duties. Spilling a bucket of water on the floor. We waited for another 7 minutez before she asked us “what did you guyz get, blizzards right?” So I repeated our order and she stopped doing the floor and I guess got our ice cream together. She handed us our ice cream mine was open never closed. So we asked for spoonz and she replied “we close in less than 5 minutes.” I then repeated “we are leaving but we need spoonz.” Guyz if you don’t wanna be there or don’t want to work don’t go. 7:50 p.m, 6-2-2025, Just stood in drive thru waiting and nothing. Waited some more and another car and another car pulls up behind me. I honk, and honk, and honk... nothing.. so I pull up. A lady is sweeping, abd the other, i guys help is in front... I told them did they not know that there is people waiting.. Both lady dumber than a box of rocks... they didn't hear anything not didn't see anything.. I said how do you know when some one pulls up, it's it just woman's intuition....... no wonder these places go under... these people that they got working don't want to work. They think there just there to get paid. But you have to make money to stay open... I would fire the 2 girls. At least the manager was apologetic... I didn't even buy anything after that.
