My family and I went to eat tonight. We had to put our puppy down today amd were looking for something to lift our spirits. We walk in amd the manager, cook and order taker are sitting at a table and watch us walk in like we just disturbed whatever they had going on. Then the guy taking our order was playing a game on his phone while taking our order! Then we sit down. Our food is ready but they keep announcing mickey (you know like the mouse), my name is Michael. Of course if we had the kids full attention, that may not have been an issue. My wife and I go to get the food and they don't have my daughters ready at all and the hot dog we ordered for my son was a cheeseburger. I let the cook know the burger is wrong, he tells me well it was rang up as a burger. I let him know if the kid at the counter had paid any attention to us this wouldn't be an issue right now. Then the manager lady comes over and proceeds to tell us, well it was rang up as a kids buger. That just pissed me off. Don't keep tellimg me what I didn't order. So I let her know as well that if the dude at the counter wasn't playing a game on his pbone while we were ordering, then it would have been right. No apologies at all, yes she made it right finally, but didn't take any ownership at all for their mistakes. Then while we are eating theres a young lady sitting behind the ordering counter on the floor. A little later the manager and the same kid that took our order are jacking around and laughing behind the same counter. Thanks for making what was already a miserable day even...
Read moreI had a incredibly horrible experience at this Fuddruckers. It was my daughter's birthday and she wasn't feeling well so I decided to order online and take it home. Bad decision.. I arrived at the time given and there was a line to the door. After waiting fifteen minutes at least I reach the cashier and am given my cup then told to go pick up my order. I walk up to the "pickup area" and my food was ready however the takeout containers were completely open and it was more like a food line. It was "here is your order" and on to the next. I have to pull the attention back and ask where is my salad dressing and do I get a bag to take all this home? The young man directed me to the dressing and I ask where is the milkshake in the order? I get told "you have to go to that area and they will help you"... So I go to the "dessert bar" and let tge gentlemen know that I had an online order for a shake. The worker had no idea what I was talking about and was told to wait and he will be back to make my shake. I wait a few minutes repeat my order and then FINALLY I'm ready to take my order home thirty minutes later! However when I get home I am told by everyone who had ordered fries there were NONE... When I called the restaurant to remedy the situation I was not apologized to once and made to feel it wasn't a big deal. The young lady replied " I can give you fries if you come back or give you a giftcard for them" ... So my choices are leave and go all the way back so the hamburgers are cold Or you will give me my money back for the fries lol.. Awesome...
Read moreIt was our first experience eating at Fuddruckers in Lubbock, and I can honestly say my wife and myself were not impressed. When we entered the door, we were greeted by the cashier, which went well enough… courteous, patient, and helpful. We made our order, both building our own burgers (mine being a 1/2 lbs pepper Jack and mushroom burger and hers being a 1/3 lbs and American cheese burger). We attempted to find a seat after getting our drinks only to find the first 2 tables dirty and sticky. From there we enjoyed talking while waiting for food, which wasn’t much time at all. Now while the music was a bit loud for a pretty well empty dining floor, I can see its usefulness for peak hours. After we received our food, there just wasn't much to it… the portions were far from generous, the bun looked smashed and roughly handled, the meat while advertised as the best was far from it. It lacked any flavor of its own, relying on the cheese and premium topping to carry the load. My skinny fries were seasoned well although my wife stated that her wedges had a flavorless heat to them. All in all, I understand why the restaurant was extremely slow…. Between the lack of cleanliness, unimpressive flavors, and significant price tag (about $33 for two people without actually being traditionally served), it’s showing it’s colors as not being competitive with many other restaurants and chains in the same...
