Teapioca Lounge — Restaurant in Lubbock

We went to this place 3 times - 1st time we ordered in store and waited for 35 minutes to get our drinks; 2nd time we waited ~20 minutes to get our drinks, and 8 to 10 people that came after us got their drinks before us; 3rd time we were served our drinks, and the lady manager came up to me 10 minutes later (after I had finished my drink) to tell me I was served a wrong drink - I couldn't tell since both drinks were coffee teas. The drink I was mistakenly served was $3, and the one I ordered was $7. I don't mean to sound petty, but I thought I'd leave a review since for 3 visits in a row we had a poor experience. It is disappointing to receive such subpar service when our orders always come out to be $12-$15 as well. The staff will possibly treat you better (not mess up your drink, or deliver it in a timely fashion) if you leave a tip at the register - I do not and hence why I may be getting such poor customer service....

If you are looking for a limited menu, high dollar refreshments and bad customer service then please go right past this place because Teapioca in Lubbock is absolutely NONE of these! There are SOOO many options and drink combinations you will most definitely find many to call your favorites! The menu board alone is four massive LCD screens and the staff is VERY knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful!! I have not had ANYTHING that isn’t just plain amazing! I absolutely love the fact that you even have sweetness options! I mean who allows you to have 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% sweetness in your drink?? I cannot speak well enough about this place! I have stomach cancer and don’t have a stomach anymore which I told them. I asked them if I pay the medium, can I get it in the baby cup because I can’t finish a medium. They charged me an extra dollar to put it in a baby cup for less drink and the charge was called “split”. I don’t understand if I got 1 baby cup, why would i need to pay extra for HALF the drink? I mean I offered to pay for a regular but extra? I’m paying more for half the size than a regular. This is not friendly to disability customers. I am happy to pay for normal cups but being up charged is crazy. Lots of other boba shops in Lubbock are very respectful when it comes to my disability.
