Just got a bag of their spro bot and oh my goodness it was earth shattering. Absolutely crazy how spot on it is with peanut butter and grape jelly. It's wild!!!! Pulled 21.5g in to 48.7g out on my first shot and wow wow wow!!! One of my all time favorite shots I've had in my life. Just made an affogato with it. Really good stuff!

Update: I have gone far enough into the espresso rabbit hole to officially call myself a full blown coffee snob. Gas station coffee will always have its place in my life. But if you want good high quality medium roast specialty coffee that is consistent, freshly roasted, unique, and delicious then this is your place. They rotate too. I don't know how but spro bot continues to be my favorite bag of beans regardless of what they throw together it just stays the most delicious shots in my house, even up against all local and global roasters. Whoever they have blending and roasting the spro bot is a flavor profile magician because it's ALWAYS so gooooooood. Thanks for Tuesdays! Gold Stripe is just all around fantastic!

Update Again: continues to be one of my favorite roasters. The Spro Bot has gone through several changes and somehow it still stays right up there in competition for my favorite beans to pull shots with. Tried the Sotaro with my last bag of Spro. Its top notch just the same as everything else. Their beans mainly go to the synchronica but they also make a great pour over. I keep trying new stuff. Onyx, Huckleberry, canyon, black cat, anvil... there's some fantastic coffee roasters. But regardless I keep gold stripe in constant rotation because its consistently...

A hudden jem in Lubbock. Highly recommended. Tried the espresso. It comes on a gorgeous engraved wooden board complemented with a 'palate' cleansing bubbly water. Drinking it between sips of the espresso makes each sip feel like the first one. Also tried an Oat Milk latte- 🔥. Excellent. Not sweet. Most lattes are sweet, this one was wholesome - absolutely amazing. Hambela organic coffee was awesome: it has apricot, dark chocolate, and raspberry. The banco gotete coffee I tried had citrus, floral, jasmine tea-like flavor. I preferred the Hambela over the Banco. The shop is one of 2 locations. Large open space. I have been following these guys for a long time and the coffee they put out continues to get better and better in ways you wouldn't think possible. They catered our wedding and did an amazing job, people were literally speaking about how legit the coffee bar was and asking where they could get some. The owners are kind and caring and are passionate about coffee and connecting people, that in itself makes me glad to be part of the Gold Stripe community.
