I just wanted to take a moment to give a review for Josie's. I wanted a breakfast burrito today. Unfortunately, another local taco shop changed their hours to 9 am? From what the Dad said, the son is to lazy and doesn't want to come in early. So sad, but great for Josie's. I ordered the Big Mama Breakfast burrito with sausage. The cashier was so insightful when I asked, "how spicy is the hot sauce?" She said, it was mild, but she would put it on the side. Awesome! It is the little things in customer service that keep customers. This used to be the standard in service when I began working decades ago. Now these kids just stare at you until you ask them, can I order? Something, "John" the manager needs to learn. I read a bad review and he offered excuses for his behavior. Apologize to the customer, never offer an excuse, never admonished your employee(s) in the presence of customers or other employee(s). You are the manager, deal with the situation, you are the leader. Remain clam. Offer an apology to other customers if the are delayed and explain simply, "I am so sorry for the wait. We had a large order come in." The person with the large order. We would be happy to fill the order. We are however a little busy, so it may take around 30 minutes to complete. May I offer you a free drink while you wait?" Everyone please understand, it is not about you. It is about the business you represent. If you are in customer service, don't get offended if we simply air an opinion. I bet if the situation was handled the way I suggested. That review would have been how good the customer service was and the food. Not about John. Who is taking way to much of this review. lol I digress, and expect a comment from John. : o Anyway, took my order home. OMG, they have really good coffee. I wish I would have eaten there to have more. The burrito was great, except they do not fold in the ends? It was like a huge folded taco. Don't get me wrong, John, the burrito was soooo GOOD! The customer service person was GREAT! When she handed me the burrito I had to look in the bag, because it felt like a small child was in the bag (two burritos). The burrito was delicious. If it was made by John, thank you, but I heard Hispanic ladies in the kitchen speaking Spanish. Anyway, just a picky point on my side about the burrito not being folded. I am going back when I want a breakfast burrito. No doubt! Please do not take offense anyone to my comments about John, I am so sorry that customer service has become an after thought in our society. When I received good customer service, I like to praise that person. I do not however ask for a name. Because people get scared when you ask what is normal in the past, as "he is going to complain about me on...
Read moreUpdate: 7/7/22 we came for lunch, after waiting 5 months between. The girl at the front was nice, but the others were not. The customers are what pays your bills. You keep us happy and we'd come back more often. This time Food was again just ok - the shell on my burrito was tough like they microwaved it. My husband ordered breakfast egg and sausage and his was great. But when we were finished, the plates were on the table and a girl came to collect them...I said to her that "the food was good as usual", no response at all. She just walked off not a word. (( How simple is thank you?) As we were leaving, I said again "thank you"...no response from anyone. It takes a half sec to say...thank you come again. Nope not friendly at all. Guess now days customer service is a thing of the past. It will be a while before we come back. We love authentic Mexican burritos, but when customer service is none. I'll pass.
March , 2022 - We opted not to go through the drive thru this time. Husband went in and ordered. It took almost 20 minutes to get two burritos. We ended up taking it home to eat and we live .3 from here. The burritos were cold... cold. This place is usually really good. The Barbara that I ordered was not spicy at all just tasted like low end roast beef. Same with my husband he ordered the ground beef breakfast burrito. This time Josie's wasn't as good as normal. We will get them another try and hope it just...
Read moreI don’t care if it’s on the menu stating you want to charge for hot sauce for burritos!!! Could you imagine going and getting fries from McDonald’s and then went to charge you for ketchup? But I don’t explains how much this business has fallen off and how horrible their food is turned out just as bad as their customer service you can drive there anytime of the day and it’s always empty other than in the morning when four cars get in there and back it up for hours because you got nothing but attitude and people telling you what they will don’t do Acting as if their food is really the best and it’s not and it hasn’t been for over 20 years. I finally drove by. Saw nobody at the drive-through said hey give him a chance and they wanted to charge for salsa not for extra salsa but just for the salsa that comes with the burrito, never known anybody to shoot them in the foot so damn bad to try to make $.75 you just lost a $20. Somebody haven’t talked these people how to correctly set up their food cost.. I would recommend Arrandas on 34th. They don’t ever charge you for hot sauce. Their food is always fresh and excellent service no matter what time of day or anytime I go there I will never make this...
