AudioCraft Review

I have a 2017 Grand Sport Corvette. Like all Corvettes there is a lot of road noise from run flat tires, fiberglass body and the hatch back on this Corvette Coupe. My wife hates the noise, she has to wear noise cancelling headphones and she said find a way to eliminate or reduce the noise. I called Andrew with AudioCraft. I have seen all kinds of automative projects AudioCraft has completed from custom lighting, custom sound systems and everything in between. Andrew said AudioCraft has installed a number of soundproofing packages in Corvettes and were ready to accept the challenge soundproofing my Grand Sport. 48 hours later the crew at AudioCraft had installed soundproofing / sound-deadening material in the front kick-pannels, in both doors, (between the fiberglass doorsill and the door frame and crossbar) and in and over the rear wheelwells. This morning I started the Grand Sport and headed out to work. After just a few seconds I checked the Engine Sound Management to see if the exhaust was still set in Track Mode. The Vette did not have the same throaty exhaust sound. It sounded like it was in stealth mode. I check the setting and the Engine Sound Management was in fact in Track Mode. My pioneer radio had stopped working and I looked at the reviews for this place and they were really good. When I got here, they were loading up a Ferrari they had worked on to go to Dallas (so they do awesome work apparently). They were really nice and looked at my radio right away and turns out a fuse had blown in the heat in June. He explained why it probably blew (the fan on the back of the radio was lagging – I think the unit is probably old, from 2017) and that it will probably make it through winter with a new fuse but when it gets hot again I’ll likely need to replace the radio. I REALLY like it when people explain to me so that I can understand why something has stopped working. Not all shops do that and these guys explained it really well and let me watch while they worked on it. I appreciated that a lot. Great service, very prompt, honest. Andrew is awesome! I told him what my expectations were and he exceeded them! I wanted a low profile system that was (virtually) in invisible. He did exactly that!
