McDonald's — Restaurant in Lubbock

I got off work at 4 a.m. and Lubbock was still dealing with the Corona lock down, Google, said this McDonald's was open 24 hours so i stopped in. After sitting at the menu for a few minutes I pulled around to see why no one took my order. I knocked on the window and when I got someones attention I yelled (cause the window was closed, not out of anger) "are you open". one of the workers came over and opened the window and asked if she could help me. i repeated are you open she sadly said no. The manager came over and was very pleasant and talked to me saying they close at 3 a.m. and they even stayed open till 3:30 this night but everything was all put up and turned off. this was fine i was not upset. he could have just waved me off and never gave it a second thought but was very nice and talked to me like he really wanted to, not like he was just trying to appease a late customer. Several employees had their heads stuck in the window too having a pleasant conversation with me also. I was happy when i left. We were the only customers in the building and it looked like our burgers were rushed out because they were all scattered (for lack of a better description) in the wrappers we hadn't realized that the drink fountains were in back.. so when I ordered my drinks at the kiosk I put whatever options in and we were kinda just forced to drink what we got.. the kiosk didn't offer a size option for the Mc flurries we wanted and when we went to find a table they were all dirty.. we weren't offered any condiments and no one was out in front so we could request them or even refills.. when we were ready to leave the trash receptacles were over-flowing I had to wait until someone came out from the back to let them know it was too full to throw away our stuff.. I'm sorry to leave this kind of review but seriously it felt like we got no hospitality at my children's favorite place to eat (when we can afford to eat out). We'll just make the drive next time to the McDonald's on university in the arrnet Benson area next time.. and...

This locations morning manager on Thursday August 3, 2023 (She was a female) was very disrespectful and unprofessional. While going through the drive-through receiving breakfast items, she continuously pushed around employees, insisting she do their job instead of being a leader and guiding them through the process. She yelled at an employee at the window directly in front of a customer. And no I am not talking about using a stern voice to get her point across. She deliberately raised her voice to a loud volume and degraded her employee over a simple mistake. She could’ve just woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, but her attitude was very unprofessional, crude, and out of pure disrespect for her peers, and customers visiting the location.
