I came in for a slice and left with a large pie to go. Truly amazing authentic Italian cuisine and it's obvious when you walk in and the aroma seduces you to the counter. Chef Tony makes each pasta dish individually with care. The pizza is absolute ambrosia and it is definitely because of the "Awesome Sauce," made from scratch in-house and the hand-stretched dough becomes the perfectly balanced crispy-chewy foundation for each masterpiece. It does get very busy... like, insanely busy, during the school year. The one guy behind the counter said that after Texas Tech events they have regularly had 3,000 people served in 2 hours. I saw what I thought was a huge beautiful pizza that camel out of the oven and went right into the rubbish bin. He told the dough stretcher it was overcooked, make another one. Quality seems to be a top priority.

Went to school in Lubbock and have been going to One Guys since I was young. We have not been in two years and I was so disappointed today. The owner retired and the person who owns the Quaker location bought this one out. This was my favorite pizza place period. The people working said we will take care of you. The only thing that was the same was the toppings. The old owner was there every time we came in and he had the magic crust touch. Tonight it was to thick and doughy. It use to be thin, crunchy with just enough softness in the middle. Look at the pics people post and you can see it’s not the same compared to my picture below from 2017. I Can’t believe my pizza place is gone. I can only hope the old owner opens another place and we meet again..

Got the 6 oz boneless wings and all meat calzone. Was just alright imo. Calzone isn't too bad of a deal for the price. Boneless wings definitely not worth the price though. Walked by here for 4 years as a graduate student and never tried it until the end of my time. Wasn't missing out on much all those years to say the least. I will say the pizza available by the slice out on the counter looked pretty dry and lifeless, which is why I got the calzone. Maybe their other pizzas when fresh are better?

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! The food was so good. You can tell it was freshly made and the ingredients are real. The establishment was very welcoming and decorated with a variety of signed sports memorabilia. They had good music playing and all of the employees on staff interacted with us throughout our visit. We felt very welcomed here, which was great for out of towners visiting for the first time!! We tried a variety of things from the menu and would recommend all of them! The pizza slices are fresh and tasty. The fettuccini Alfredo was piping hot and flavorful. Hands down, the calzones are the icing on the cake! We tried the meat calzones and the house calzones. I've never had better and I'm not just saying that! The crust was so fresh and soft. It all fit together so perfectly with the melted cheese and homemade sauce. The meats inside both were so amazing and it was just a great blend of flavors that melted in my mouth with every bite! The seasoning on the crust was savory. If you are ever in Lubbock, make it a point to come by and pay this place a visit. It is worth it both from a financial and appetite pleasing standpoint. You won't be...

So I’ve ordered from this place 3 times, the 3rd time was today and the reason why Im writing this. I absolutely LOVED this place because it was REAL pizza, you know? The cheese was real, so real that it would be so stringy you’d have to cut it. It was also very nice crust, on the thicker/fluffier side, but it all changed today and I’m extremely disappointed.

I ordered the same thing I did the last 2 times and they told me their prices went up (at the time it was fine because their pizzas were pretty big and extremely good), it didn’t bother me until I got my pizza and saw that it was stiff, flat, and it was completely obviously they changed what cheese and dough they used the previous times. The cheese tasted like it came from a high school cafeteria lunch. The dough was rock hard and looked burnt. I won’t be getting pizza from here for a while and make sure I look at the pizza before I buy it, just to make sure it’s back to normal. I...

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to share the experience I had at One Guy today - so disappointed. A couple coworkers and I often order from this location as it is close to our office building and we love the calzones here. Everything is usually great, but today was a different story.

The guy at the register was a total jerk! He barely made eye contact and acted as though he was bothered with every little thing. When I asked for the cups for the drinks we paid for he practically threw them at me. Then I looked through our bag to make sure it had our complete order I asked him for a couple things it was missing. Again, he acted annoyed and threw those items at me as well.

And to top it all off, when some other customers and I were getting our drinks he walked out from behind the counter cut us all off and refilled his own beverage. (Dont' mind us paying customers.)

Definitely the worst customer service I've...
