After 2 years living at this community I wanted to leave an authentic review from what I have experienced. First, the apartment itself is very spacious. I lived in both a 3x2 large flat and a 1x1 large flat. Living in the 1x1 most recently, the whole apartment is actually much more spacious than I would have figured. The bedroom size is large and can easily fit a king size bed with plenty of room left over. The living room and kitchen area is the perfect size and having a bathroom that has entry doors from both the bedroom and the living area is very nice so guests do not have to walk through my room to access the bathroom. I love that there is full sized washer and dryers and all the appliances are included. Having a parking garage is a huge perk at this apartment as there are no stairs you have to walk up everyday. For move in there is 2 freight elevators, though since I first moved in, the complex is now fully furnished. In the garage towing is enforced 24/7 and there is a tow truck that will drive around every hour. Some things that the property does lack is security. There is security at the complex during the night hours from close until the following morning, but having known some of the security in the past, they do not complete the walks around the property as much as they should. I had a camera outside of my door and I rarely ever saw them walk by my door. When I used to live in the other apartment there was a big space in front of my door where they would sometimes stand around for a while on their phones. Also speaking about cameras. The properties have 2 as of right now. They are in the garage and only record the traffic in and out of the garage, nothing more. The hallways look to have cameras on the first floor, but they are not active cameras. (I was informed of this when my boyfriends apartment was broken into a year ago. He lived on the first floor and someone broke in, lived there for several days. destroyed his apartment and all of his personal belongings and flooded his unit. The management did work well with my boyfriend for the issue and his insurance did cover his belongings. This is the only break in incident that I am aware of.) The doors on the outside of the property get broken frequently and allow for anyone to access the building. Another thing about the complex is it is pet friendly. I have and ESA and setting up her account was very easy through a portal they use for all pets. There is a dog park, but beware that it is turf and hold everything. My dog would leave the dog park smelling awful. There are some outside areas that pets can use, but they are not often cleaned and smell very bad as well. The fire alarms do go off fairly often, sometimes in the middle of the night. I lived at the Suites property and though they did not go off as often my first year living there as they did the Centre property, more recently they have gone off quite often. Management says they are working on them and have been working on them since they acquired the property in 2020-21 time. Management is hard to get ahold of sometimes, especially if you are calling about an issue that you have tried to contact for several times. They will not reply quickly or if at all. Honestly. The internet at the property was recently upgraded, but on more occasions than 1 I have been without internet for several days at a time. The complex is located very close to campus with about a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of campus. There are 3 bus stops located nearby. One at Torchy's off Ave X, one at the Village on Mac Davis, and one at the Scarlett off Mac Davis. It is also a convenient location with several food options and Walmart right down the road. Lastly, I wanted to talk about pricing. When I was first looking into the Suites in 2021 the prices for a 1x1 large flat (748 sq feet) were roughly $1000 give or take a month. This past year with rent and my reserved parking spot I paid $1122 a month (rent was $1082). This year, it would have cost me upwards $1240 for rent and parking to stay. Keep some of these...
Read moreI wish I could give this place zero stars. If you asked me about living here a year ago I would've said absolutely, money well spent. If you asked me now , I'd say HELL NO! This is literally the projects, ran down, ghetto, "luxury" living. The only luxury thing about it is that it's walking distance from the school. I transferred units back in August 2024, that's when I should've broken my lease then and moved away from student housing all together, shame on me. My new unit, 2109 (suites) was absolutely horrific, the carpet was stained, the front door was knocked off the foundation to the point where I was throwing myself into it just to get in, the previous tenants left their trash on the balcony, the apartment was never cleaned. I complained every. single. day. For a month straight. I called the front office, I went in the front office, I sent multiple emails to the property manager, no action was taken until I had to threaten them with, withholding my rent! In September I moved again to another unit. The unit I'm in is fine, despite everything. I pay $1300 a month for a cardboard box! I hear every single thing in my neighbors apt and I don't just mean the ones above me. I have no peace in my house, whether it's above my head, in my bedroom, in my living room. No peace. Every month I feel as if I am just throwing my money away because there's no insulation in these walls. I have made several complaints, in writing and in person; about my upstairs neighbors, even referenced my lease, clearly that's not being honored. I'm at the point where I'd like to take matters into my own hands. If it continues it's my right to break this lease due to negligence on this apartments part! Oh and the tenants are absolutely disgusting! We're talking about young adults who decided to own dogs and they're letting them shit and piss in the hallways. I have complained and provided video evidence of which tenant and dog it is, nothing has happened. One staff member, asked me "have you figured out who's letting their dog do that?" As if I work for the property. That's not my job. My last complaint is the maintenance. They're very fast in responding to the maintence request, do they always fix the issue at hand, no! I have been complaining since I moved into this unit that my A\C sounding like the motor of a lawn mower; it quite literally sounds like it could fall out of the ceiling! They have attempted to fix it 3 times also came in here and tried to gaslight me. The last time they were in my apartment I told them that the vent in my living room does not blow air, they came in messed with and literally just cracked the heat up to 74 degrees. Well yeah it's warm in the house if you do that and it's 60 degrees outside. I filled out the survey, leaving my feedback just to find out that they were in my apt the following day without notice and without a work order, the way I know they were in my apt is because things weren't place back how I typically have them. I notified the office and all they could say was "sorry"! At this point the apologies aren't cutting it. It's like apologizing and still doing it again, did you ever mean it? The fire alarms is really just the icing on top for me. Constant loud ruckus from my neighbors, not being able to truly get rest because of them and then fire alarms blaring in your ear in the middle of the night, waking you up. I have gotten to a point where I don't even go outside anymore, god forbid it's ever a real fire. I know the complex in its self can't do anything about the pipes bursting and the alarms going off that's what it's suppose to do HOWEVER, the amount of pipes that have burst this year lead me to believe it's a deeper issue than just the weather causing it to happen, might be that they're old and this building isn't up to code. I'm literally just so fed up! I'm counting down the days for July, and don't call me about renewing cause the answer is HELL NO! How you gonna increase rent, with no upgrades? Imagine! Only thing this complex is...

I have lived at the Suites for the past two years and it was overall a horrible experience. Screeching Fire alarms late at night and early hours of the morning, they will email and apologize every time without fail, but no fixes to it at all. I would estimate hearing fire alarms nearly every week in the most inconvenient hours.
There are no locks from the parking garage to the inside of the apartment. Ive seen homeless people walking around in the parking garage, so knowing they could enter and do anything they wanted disgusted me. Actually this past year they finally started locking the outside doors (along the street).
Management once called me to ensure that I was going to pay my $43.50 for utilities? Like I havenât paid them every month. That interaction alone was highly disrespectful, and shows where their only interest are. Money.
They say their office is open from 8:00-7:00 but don't expect them to be there within the first or last hour to pick up packages. Im convinced this apartment is ran by students. That is the only thing they do have right is great maintenance and friendly front desk staff. On move out they sent an entire list of cleaning supplies they expect us to buy to clean the entire apartment with. I cleaned, but did not comply with their BS. Whenever I moved into the apartment it was dirt and dust from the ceiling to the baseboards, paint slapped around in the bathroom, on the mirror and in the sinks. The appliances they gave us were shitty, or didn't work. So all of the cleaning that was done was really out of courtesy, because i know they are going to charge for damages when we leave without even looking into our unit.
The gym has probably never been cleaned. Ive stared at the same zyn stuck to the wall for months now. So if you get a cut in there you might want to run to the hospital. On top of that they have the strangest arrangement of equipment in their small gym. And if you thought any of it worked well, you would be completely wrong. Youâre better off doing pushups and body squats in your living room.
Just down the hall a water sprinkler busted outside of a friends unit and he had to buy fans to dry up the water that leaked into the unit and the people under him had to evacuate and live in a hotel temporarily.
Are there any camera's in the hall? No. Are there any cameras in the parking garage? No. Did the guy that took shit out of your vehicle get away? YES! Oh and the elevators will work half of the time. And they will usually smell like shit or piss!đ
Is the pool clean? Never. And its really only swimmable 4 months out of the year if you wanted to swim in filthy water. Do the outdoor gas grills work? Thankfully one of them does.
Bottom line management doesnât give a shit about you or your experience. So find a cheaper better place to live please. The only good thing about centre suites, is the location. That is literally all youâre paying for.
BTW, I NEVER leave reviews, but i figured it was my duty to not allow such a soulless management succeed. My recommendation? Wildwood, Thrive, The Collective, and Capstone. Ive had friends live in all of these places, they paid less and had significantly...
