The Whataburger on Timberland Dr. : I'll be writing Corporate. The girls in the drive through have been great. The people in the back, well. #1 I hate it when you dont get what you order, go home and have to return to pick up what you already paid for. I honestly HATE eating cold food or having to heat it up again, all because I had to waste my gas and time to return to the store. #2 I understand the need to pressure wash the drive through and surrounding area. I have been in management/ownership for many years. However, you NEVER have employees pressure washing the drive through area, during a busy time of day next to cars. That was so irresponsible of management. The kid doing the pressure washing obviously did not have the common sense not to use it next to the vehicles. In all reality, a parking lot should be pressure washed, restriped, or repaired after hours. If a 24/hr business, the all maintenance should be done at night, or late evening when traffic is lower.
I mean, really? Come on management. Let's get it together now. Maybe, they just haven't received the proper training, maybe they just do not care, I do not know; but, I do know that there needs to be some changes made.
District Managers: Don't just train your Managers on the logistics, paperwork, and mechanical functions of the position. Coach them on proper customer satisfaction, proper timing for maintenance, etc. Do not tell you Managers "To just get it done" Guide them as to when the best time would be.
If this was a District Manager call, then the area Manager should step up, and so forth. Somewhere along the line of chain and command, there has not been...
Read moreWe got there at 10:50. We got breakfast food. I know it was at the end of breakfast but they serve it until 11 so we ordered it. We didn't get our food until 11:22 and they told us it was due to them mixing the pancake mix. They weren't very busy with other customers and seemed to be fully staffed at the time. The manager kept saying it was the pancakes, that they were done with breakfast but had to bring the pancake mix back out. I get that but I could've made that whole breakfast quicker had I been home starting from scratch. The wait time was excessive, even for Whataburger!
When the food came, my taquito looked like it had been thrown on the ground, rubbed in bacon grease (I ordered an egg, potato and cheese taquito, so no meat) and repackaged in a new wrapper. The cheese wasn't melted, the taquito smelled greasy and unappealing and the first bite I apprehensively took tasted rancid. My dad's 3 stack of pancakes were heavy, flat and full of oil. The three together stacked up to look as big as 1 normally is. They were like heavy oily pucks that tasted close to the way they looked, pucky. He tried to eat them but only got away with eating the sausage and hash browns. The smushed tater tots kind, and those were the only thing good.
I will not be going back to this particular...
Read moreI’ve been raised in Texas and eaten at Whataburger my whole life and I just had the best experience at a Whataburger that I’ve ever had. Our group was greeted by multiple staff upon entry - even someone from the kitchen welcomed us! The manager noticed we were a large group and asked if we were tax exempt so they could help complete a quick form and made it so easy. We were offered promotional cups. Our food came out in less than five minutes and it was all exactly correct as ordered! The asst manager came out and checked on us. The food was hot fresh and delicious. And everyone said bye and have a good day when we left. We are just traveling through on a road trip but this place is worth the stop. If I lived here, I’d be here weekly for sure. Thank you! Especially to Alexus and Lakeisha. Thank you for making...
