Amanda's Farm to Fork — Restaurant in Lula

I've been meaning to try this place out for quite a while. I finally had a chance today, I wasn't very hungry but I thought I'd like to give it a try. The menus fairly limited it varies by day. But since I wasn't very hungry I thought I'd just ordered a cheeseburger. A cheeseburger and fries and a glass of tea ran me $11. I thought okay, it's probably going to be a spectacular hamburger. It was not. The bun was just a regular one that you get from the grocery store and it wasn't even warm much less toasted. The cheese on the cheeseburger which I thought would be something like a gruyere or blue cheese was only just a slice of sandwich cheese. On the plus side the french fries were apparently fresh cut with peel still on but no seasoning that I could distinguish. I'm not sure but the restaurant may be run by a church. The decoration and signs all around the interior would lead you to believe that it was a Christian organization. The people working inside looked as though they were worn out. I love Amanda, she is the kindest, loving soul. She has truly blessed me. About 6 years ago I had surgery on both of my knees. Doctors order was no up and down stairs for a week so, I was stuck upstairs for a week each time. With two girls and a husband to feed, I saw a post about AFTF. I texted her and asked what was it all about. I ordered food for my surgery weeks and our family was hooked. The southern style cooking and oh my, her desserts are so yummy!! Signed up a few days ago for a biscuit making class and came down with the flu and couldn’t make it and she refuses to give a refund. I could’ve bought the supplies for five bucks and watched a YouTube video claimed it was in the description and she needed a 10 days notice, but the flu didn’t give me a 10 day notice 🥴 try and support the locals and get treated like this.
