I took one star off only because of the wife, who apparently lacks some business sense. The food is great. No problem there. But I am a single person. Chef has been kind for over a year to make for me a combo, off menu, of his wonderful General Tso's beef. Ordering it separately, instead of the combination, is a waste of both money and food for just one person. But today, the wife made it a problem. She told me "no more, because it's not on the menu".. after getting it with no problem for over a year.. and chef just walked away instead of informing his wife that it is just a matter of giving fried rice and an egg roll, instead of a very large serving with white rice, which I don't like.. not good business sense on the part of the wife. Apparently, she thinks that they have so many customers that just one does not matter..and that the printed menu matters more.. I have never complained to pay for my combo, but this wife doesn't seem to understand the importance of customer satisfaction. She should just stay home and let him run the business, before she loses even more customers for no...
Read moreToday was my first time ordering and I will never order again. I ordered General tsos chicken and pork fried rice . The chicken was breaded and soggy , the sauce was water thin and looked like stained water , rice was hard and swimming in water . I also got an order of sweet and sour chicken that was also soggy and rice was swimming in water. My order of crab rangoons tasted like dirty fish water and was also a strange rubbery consistency. When I returned the entire order they tried to argue and blame it on me picking it up late even though I was there before it was even ready. Ultimately they did refund me but that was after arguing there was nothing wrong with my order. I honestly have never written a bad review before this. I miss the golden star in river street WB need...
Read moreUse to live near this place years ago, traveled the extra distance hoping they were still quality. Happy to say yes. With all the weirdness since COVID-19, all new people at the places near me quality took a nose dive, call me picky but I don't appreciate being served through a wood and plastic prison door left to stand out in the cold. Both the Luzerne and Wilkes-Barre locations have made it so you can come in out of the weather. The food is cooked as it has always been, except for the General Tso's, it's sauce got a little sweeter, a little like sweet and sour sauce, still better than others. The Luzerne one will be moving from Union to Kelly st, so not gone just moved, highly recommend you...
